Hi all, popped into boots today to get dh some nicotine replacement therapy stuff, had a moc for a total spend on health care so used that and some of the balance on my gift card and recieved a moc of no7. Was gonna put it in my purse and run out the shop but saw some reduced no7 nail varnish £1.50 :o. But in my defence i used a 250 point coupon and the voucher , so was free plus got 250 points so ive convinced myself thats ok , as no points nor money were spent on it, eventhough im feeling decidedly guilty:o.

    Nab

    xx

QUICK go paint your nails with it... then it'll be ok x

Let's be realistic - it's going to be almost impossible for some of us to go from buying lots of products to buying nothing so don't beat yourself up.......

A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step........ :o
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

*GULP* I'm getting my friend Miss Ruth Less to help me sort my makeup drawer tonight. If I don't use it, it is GOING.

If I use it occasionally it's getting put in a bag which is "occasional use"

If I have more than one, the extras are going in the "occasional use" bag.

The rest, are going in the "use all the time" box

    If its dry, its going.

    Who's with me?

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Well our local poundland had Charles Worthington Shampoo and Conditioner last time I went in- so might stock up because it's really nice and smells gorgeous and it keeps me away from Boots! I will try and resist any other bargains (and that goes for household cleaning products as well!!!)

I reduced my make-up box to a bag the other day. I found I kept forgetting what I had. I found I was holding on to some bits - the only way I could reduce stuff was try the product and if I could use it, fuss-free, then it can stay. If not, go, go, go!

My OH went on a trip last year and stayed at a hotel with normal size L'Occtainne toiletries. He says he could never go back again after he kept phoning for extra to bring home for me :rotfl:

I love it when you go to a hotel, go to the bathroom and see Molton Brown, Elemis etc

Lol, I've never stayed anywhere that was posh enough to have l'Occitane, Molton Brown or Elemis toiletries (but if I ever do, I'm definitely taking them). :D I did get a free rubber duck (no rude comments, please ;) ) from an Apex hotel - that was quite cool. :) The places I stay usually have 'Gilchrist & Soames' or similar and even then they sometimes only have big bottles, bolted into holders on the walls.

Bought lots of half price M & S body butters a couple of weeks ago. Will probably use all of my body moisturisers by 2011. I'm def not buying any more. (Must remember when I'm at Liverpool Street station to avoid the Lush shop. :D)
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

Gilchrist and Soames, yukkkkkkkkk!!! I swear they fill those bottles with Value washing up liquid. I always take my own toiletries unless staying somewhere posh.

I have consigned an Avon eye cream to the bin.. i now remeber it makes my eyes water.
I have sort of used up a Trevor Srbie hair spray..I filled up my mini sized one with what was left.
Decluttering and tidying in general continues and I have found another 2 nail polishes and Ds posted one back to me that i left behind at Christmas!!
Still sat here with bare nails!
That Boots posting has arrived here.....
I need p&p .. might have to go:eek: will be able to buy with points though... is that allowed?

    Hi Pippo

Which Avon eye cream have you just binned as I am using the Liiv Botanicals one at the moment and if I use too much accidentally the skin under my eyes stings for a bit and wasn't sure if I was having some reaction to it or just perservere and carry on using it.
