im half way through a shower gel. lent it to my OH and a fair old amount was used !! *mental note: never lend soap and glory to him*
I would never lend my S&G stuff to my OH, he would have to use washing-up liquid if he ever ran out of shower gel!
I love Batiste dry shampoo too, my hair is quite light blonde so it blends in well.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Does anybody else feel as though they must use every single last scrap of a toiletry they have purchased? I remember someone else mentioning earlier in the thread about cutting the end off a tube to get the last dregs out.
Even if I don't like a product I feel utterly compelled to use every last drop - almost like a punishment for me buying it in the first place when I didn't need it. This is just an observation about myself really, but was wondering if I am alone?Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

Oh go on then I'll join too - I think it was the look of shock on flying_fresian's face yesterday when I admitted I had had to buy a plastic chest of drawers thing (like this) as my toiletries no longer fitted in the storage in my bathroom that did it!I just hope I survive the 75% off boots sale without going mad...
I'll try and list it all at the weekend.
On a happier note - my hands have never been smoother - everytime I read this thread I reach for the handcream (well technically body butter)! :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Hi, Yes I do this. Especially with the expensive stuff! Have finished up a large bottle of moisturiser today (which I've had on the go for ages).0

I always cut tubes from toothpaste to moisturisers its something i learnt from my dad and there's always lots left in the little corners. I have not finished anything yet but i am moisturising more so my skin is benefitting from this challenge.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

Hi all, popped into boots today to get dh some nicotine replacement therapy stuff, had a moc for a total spend on health care so used that and some of the balance on my gift card and recieved a moc of no7. Was gonna put it in my purse and run out the shop but saw some reduced no7 nail varnish £1.50
. But in my defence i used a 250 point coupon and the voucher , so was free plus got 250 points so ive convinced myself thats ok , as no points nor money were spent on it, eventhough im feeling decidedly guilty:o.

YES YES YES.. I do this too!
Whilst looking at my cupboard earlier I thought how old some of my products were and then realised that these were bought in unhappy times... buying beauty products gave me an instant buzz... made me feel beautiful... and made me feel I'd meet my prince charming- guess it worked (had to kiss a few frogs before) although now I've met him he makes me feel beautiful with a naked face and pj's on.... if only someone could've told me that when I was spending thousands at the Chanel counter
