I haven't listed my stash as I seem to be finding stuff daily! I used up today = an elemis body cream (small size), elemis lavendar face mask (put some on my back too) and chucked some out of date vitamins (all packaging was recycled).
I have worked out why I have so much. A lot of bits are either reduced/on special offer, bought as part of a box set when I probably only wanted one or two products. And of course, with many of these offers you buy more than you need because you think well I'm saving.

i'm still in and feeling very self-disciplined. seen a few bits and bobs that i would normally have bought without thinking(and using for ages ).

my mum and sister are buying quite a few face serums and eve lom stuff off me. that money will go straight into the bank. NOT to be respent :o

my nephew is moving into his own property so he's getting a nice big box of bathroom stuff as a housewarming present. kills 2 birds with one stone.

face wipes(why? dont even use) are excellent for household cleaning. theyre all going in the kitchen cupboard.

using serum on the back of my hands and decolletee
    (like french women!)
my niece is being given a lot of nail varnish (why did i buy so much? i only wear nudes :o)

the rest of my stuff i am going to use all the time and enjoy. i will save lots of money and look an smell fab i hope. perfume and handcream are in my bag and will get reapplied.

i'm starting to feel liberated i think. this buying of stuff and hoarding it has definitely affected me.

Well done you!!! You have found great uses for stuff and are being so organised. Congrats especially on selling stuff and saving money on a gift for your nephew. Genius! :T

I feel liberated too, am no longer afraid of visiting the Grabbit board!!! :rotfl:

Oh yes, I also found a stash of vitamins, thankfully all in date. I have sorted them in chronological order and am taking them every day faithfully. Ladies, we are going to be supermodels soon!!! :D

I also got home yesterday to a package from Boots product testing... 2 months' supply of FREE skin supplements! I was over the moon, this is the sort of thing I can never justify buying as it is so dear, but I am dying to give it a go! Yay!!!!:beer::beer:

  • Morning Everyone! No work today, yey :j

I'm doing quite well at the moment, ive decided to give a big Sancutary box i had at christmas to my friend as its her birthday in February, so that saves me about £10 buying a gift and to be honest i dont think ill ever use the products but she will ;)

So far i have finished an exfoliator and a pack of No.7 wipes.

I've been using my Body Shop coconut body butter on my feet and its gorgeous! It sinks in so well and my feet are so smooth :D
But while looking for this body butter i then found a stash of foot products, including scrubs, foot sprays, lotions, varnishes and cuticle oils, so i will make an effort to take better care of my feet!

I was thinking the other night about my toiletries obsession and im nothing like my Mum.
For as long as i can remember my Mum has only ever used 3 products - soap and water, any body lotion thats around and a pot of Astral moisturiser (big blue tubs that was advertised by Joanna Lumley) She doesnt use any night creams, anti-ageing bits, serums etc etc and her skin is fab! She is 54 i think as has no real wrinkles, her skin in clear and plump, healthly looking and i wish my skin was like her's and im going to be 25 next week :o:rotfl:

Oh well, i guess if i use all my products my skin might be just as good

I did pop in to Boots this week to buy some dry shampoo (an essential for me as I am quite often too lazy to wash my hair in the morning). It is funny because it is a product that I always use up but I never have a stash of it and it never seems to be on offer!

Sometimes its on offer in asda for £1.00.

    Hi,

Which dry shampoo do you use? I use something called Balast (sp) or something like that and it leave my hair looking white and its really difficult to brush out.
I really like the idea of the product though as i'm lazy and cant be bothered to wash my hair in the morning! :D

Bastise? Do you have dark hair? They've just launched a version for brunettes so that might be better for you.

Hi all! Just a quick update... since writing my list I've used up:

    1 Mudd face mask
    1 Boots Ingredients shower gel
1 L'Oreal Studio Line Hot Volume hair mousse
    1 Botanics toner

I replaced the toner and hair mousse, so doing well! :)
