    Hi all,

I used/finished up 9 toiletries today. All half started tubes and bits.

I'm now making a list of stuff I like as I go along (Barbara Daly foundation is v.good, for some reason I was all snobby about it). However, I have 3 bottles of foundation to use up before any purchases. Am finding every eye cream (apart from liz earle eye serum) makes my eyes sore at night.

I'm using up a bare essentials bronzer and it's driving me crazy it's like working with talc, it just goes everywhere. As soon as I find my bronzer (it's in a bag somewhere) I think the be one has to go to my sis. my carpet is getting bronzed every morning.

Be strong everyone, all those organised cupboards and more pennies in the bank will be worth it!
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.
 Fab thread: Long daily walks

How about using the Nivea on your throat & decollette, rather than wasting it (Tip from Bronnie which I have followed).

Can't pretend to take credit for that.......tip from lostinrates.....I said slap unwanted face creams on the backs of your hard-working hands................similarly beneficial!!

Not bought anything again today (mind you stuck in with flu) I am going to have to buy conditioner soon so I thought but went to my mothers and told her about this so we went threw her toileteries and guess what i found? My mum dyes her hair 2-3 weeks (no natural colour left IYKWIM?) and she never uses those tubes of conditioners that come with the colours I found 24!!!!!!!!!!! of them that should take me through til the summer.

I know someone that I discovered used to throw them away , so I have a supply there too and they are AMAZING conditioner for coloured hair! (Why on earth doesn't your mum use them????)

Help me resist!! I have two shampoos and two conditioners (Herbal Essences and the big bottles) in the bathroom, so why do I feel like I have to buy more just because it's on BOGOF in Boots??

Also, I got the S&G hand cream in my hatbox and I'm in love! I had been planning on spending my points on Benefit Dandelion Powder but it's £22.50 and I only have £17 in points on my card. I was thinking that if I can find something similar but cheaper I can use my points and any leftover points will go to buying more hand cream when I run out.

So, toiletries addicts, what is as good but less expensive than Dandelion? Would this one do a similar job? (I could use my £5 off voucher then pay with points couldn't I?)

No, you can't part pay with points, full stop. Sorry!! Also, that R&M powder is not like Dandelion - it's a setting powder, Dandelion is a blusher - and a very nice one, I must admit! I have a pot from my spendthrift days. I don't know of any comparable product but no doubt one of our fellow makeup addicts will be along soon to advise you! HTH xo

I use it all over my face not just as blusher as it evens out my skintone without being too heavy....I think I'm going to have to get creative in terms of how I pay for this! I have a monthly toiletries budget of £20 (But that covers cleaning products for the house too!) so I'm going to have to "save" my budget money and buy it in February I think :o It does last for flipping ages though!

There are quite a few people selling Dandelion on Ebay. My DD discovered my pot... she looked like a little piglet walking into the bedroom with it all smeared on her face!
