SPent hours on Sunday decanting bits of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner into pump dispensers in the bathroom, chucked loads of empty bottles out then and felt great, must have dripped a tiny bit on the floor, turned round, slipped and put my back out, that will certainly keep me out of Boots for ages.

I'm sooooo good!!! Having resisted the Gok set inBoots and Hypnose Mascara in John Lewis so far this year I went into Boots today.

I needed some moisturiser (not quite run out - will need to snip end of tube by end of week though), so I went to buy the one I like at £2.99 but it was 2 from the range for £4, so I bought a cleanser as well (have about 1/3 bottle left). Not sounding good so far but I used my points and didn't even look at the reduce bits or special offers. Feeling smug!

No it's the Skin Clear - like Clearasil but cheaper! I have mild acne and have tried loads over the years and this is best for me.

I hate buying it though as it's in the teenage skincare section, not with the nice stuff. I'm 36 and feel too old!
  • Hi all, well been really good at using my toiletries today and it really is making a difference. Recieved my boots mailing today and am keeping it just because ive got £100 boots gift card so when i go buy nappies etc will use my total spend coupons etc. But i promise will not buy anything i already have a spare of in my stash. I went through my foot/ hand creams and realised ive got 15 hand creams ( mainly minis) and only 3 foot creams ????:o this inventory idea is really great cause then i actually know what i need and when to buy ie onlybuy when one spare and on offer in shops plus moc plus points etc etc.
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)

I've noticed I'll need to replace a couple of products soon-ish. One is my night cream (I don't tend to stockpile face creams as it takes me so long to use them up, I worry I'll be bored of them by the time I've finished) - I'm currently using Simple Repair Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream:

    http://www.boots.com/en/Simple-Repair-Anti-Wrinkle-Night-Cream-50ml_861306/

I got it free by testing it for Cosmo and like it so much I want to replace it with the same. My problem is it costs nearly £8 and that will put a significant dent in my (self-imposed) toiletry budget of £25 for the year. ;) So, if any one sees it on special offer anywhere (not that I'm encouraging you to loiter in those toiletry aisles :D ) I'd be really grateful if you could flag it up for me on this thread. There's no massive hurry as the one I've got probably last me another couple of months but I'd like to have one in stock. The other thing I'll have to replace soon (maybe in the next couple of weeks) is my clear mascara; I'm not too concerned about that as I buy the Collection 2000 one for the grand sum of £1.99. :)

Not saying buy this one £5.21 inc pp at present ...but maybe worth keeping an eye here for a bargain one that might slip through at 99p!

Ooops, I should have mentioned I don't shop on eBay. Thanks for taking the time to look though. :)

Finished last bottle of toner last night, instead of going into Boots this morning to be tempted by lots of lovely things I have swapped round my cleansers to one that I found with a built in toner
