Hia,
Just popping in quickly to say Hia! I used up over the last few days/week:
- Clarins red cream - this is the pricey one. It came as part of a gift set. Really nice. Really brightening but not that moisturising. Nice as a treat (probably at their bonus time in eg Debenhams when you get a sample size).
- Crabtree & Evelyn Goatmilk body cream. Nice smell. Dont think it did a lot to my skin though.
- Aveda damage repair shampoo - sample. Quite nice for a chemical free (ie no sodium laureth sulphate foaming agent). Mmm price may put me off. It brightened the colour in my hair though! In a good way!
- Colgate gel total - yuk! Hate this flavour and I keep finding the little buggars everywhere inthe house.
- Nivea cashmere moments shower gel. Ok. Probably not buy again. The Nivea shower gels have a strange consistency for me.
- M&S inspire perfume + body cream. I guiltily gave these to sis. Plus a Pecksniffs sample. I had got too much perfume at the moment and shes even more generous than me with perfume. Plus this will make room for Liz Earles one which is my not a surpise valentines present.... I also remember the other day that I remembered that I embarrassingly really like the Stunning Perfume by Katie Price. Its really nice and lasts really well. So I think it will be this and the Liz Earle (depending how that goes with wear) from now on.
I was tempted to get meeself to Sainsburys to get a Champneys mint shower gel. Then I found a half used mint shower gel by another make in the house! My stash keeps turning up in unexpected places. At least it fixed that buzz for stuff.
I had the buzz again today but luckily was not within reach of Boots/ Savers/ Superdrug. All I need to do is go upstairs and a small branch of Boots is available there!
A quick stock-take:
:(Cleansers x 4
:DEye make up remover x 1 (in use!)
:DToners x 2
:oMoisturisers x 3 (plus a Superdrug facial oil)
:oFace masks x 3 (2 moisturising and 1 Mud one)
:(Body lotion x 5
:DHand cream x 1
:DShampoo x 2 (err both in use and nearly used up!)
:DConditioner x 2 (one in use and nearly run out!)
:oSerums x 2
So I will need to buy:
eye make up remover
hand cream
shampoo
conditioner
Of course depending on that face that I dont find any more STASH! :rotfl:Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

New Supermarket Scam - please pass on to all your female friends!Dear Girlfriends,Please Please Please - make yourself aware of where this is happening AND tell your friends!Over the last month I became a victim of a clever 'Eastern European' scam while out shopping. Simply dropping into Morrisons for a bit of shopping has turned out to be quite traumatic.Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends. Here's how the scam works:Two seriously good-looking, young men with foreign accents come over to your car and help pack your shopping into the boot. They then both start cleaning your windscreen. Their firm young bodies bulging out of their skimpy vest tops. It's impossible not to look! When you thank them and offer them a tip, they'll say 'No' and instead ask you for a lift to another store, in my case, Tesco's . You agree and they both get in the backseat. On the way, they start undressing, and both get completely naked. Then, when you pull over to remonstrate, one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts kissing you, touching you intimately, and thrusting himself against you, while the other one steals your purse!I had my purse stolen Nov 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th, and 29th. Also Dec 1st, 4th, twice on the 6th, three times last Saturday and very likely again this coming weekend. So Be Warned!!!P.S. Lidl have purses on sale for £1.99 each, Aldi are £1.75 and look nicer.
mind you no 1 is wearing more make up than me and looks younger than my son!!!!!!:rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Brilliant!!!!Thanks:T
Just printed one off and will head to Boots this pm to get my cotton pads.
Hope it works OK in my branch otherwise I will be steeling myself to face the embarassment of putting them back on the shelves:o:o:o as I don't need them yet and don't want to use my budget for them, but will add them to stock if they come through the till as free!
Let you know later!!
If a glitch doesn't work or the till says no, just pretend you've forgotten your purse... works every time!!! :TGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I have been reading Salesaddicts posts and can definitley identify with her. I find that I mooch around Boots etc when I am feeling a bit low and need a boost. I seem to go there everyday (even now I am trying to stop buying toiletries - It is almost as if I am trying to torture myself). I live on my own, I'm single and am unhappy with my body (which is something else I am trying to sort out as well as decluttering the flat etc etc), so to cut a long story short, the buzz I get from buying toiletries and the buzz I get when I use them for the first time almost makes up for the shortcomings in my life elsewhere (I have amazing friends, but it isn't the same as having a bloke)... However, I need to get back to the gym and keep out of Boots and see how I feel then (exercise always makes me feel fab - I only stopped because of injury)!
!
Can I suggest that you stop going to Boots every day. Could you cut back to once or twice a week and give yourself a limit of 1 or 2 purchases per week. I know this thread is for buying no toiletries but I don't think it's realistic to go from daily visits to Boots to never going there.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Well, I had to make an emergency purchase; a £1 shower gel as I ended up staying overnight somewhere and had forgotten to pack any shower gel. Other than that, I've made no new purchases this year and am working my way through the vast supplies I've already accrued over the last few years.0

Hi ladies, I have a toiletries-related question and you may just be the ones to anwer it for me...
I've been using Sunsilks shampoo and conditioner (mainly the blonde one and sometimes the purple one) for a fair while, but a month or two ago my hair went into a fairly horrible state, turning into a 'rat's nest' at the top with hair breaking near the root. I've never had that before, and summised that the bad weather we were having meant that the shampoo/conditioner I was using weren't suitable for the bad weather conditions. I then converted to Tresemme Deep Cleanse vitamin C shampoo (the one with the dark green stripe), which has been fabulous for the washing, and I have continued using up the conditioner as a) it didn't seem to pose much of a problem after changing the shampoo; b) I don't know what to use instead as it has been so long since I used a different one (and the Tresemme one hates my hair).
So here is the crux of my problem. I need to find a new conditoner as the other one doesn't aggrivate the problem at the roots, but isn't quite perfect, either. In case you need to know I have mousy brown hair which is quite thick, not oily or dry etc, and normally in very good condition. When I was a teenager I used to get an oily slick down part of the left hand side, but I don't any more (I don't think it would return due to an overly-oily product, but who knows?). I know it's a bit of a random question as everyone's hair is different, but I'm just hoping that someone out there reckons that my hair sounds about the same type as their own so I can get a good recommendation without having to buy ten bottle of rubbish conditioner before getting a good one.
FYI Herbal Essences is horribly in my hair, as if Tresemme conditioner (but the shampoo is great). I can't use Paul Mitchell any more as it not leaves my hair unmanageably soft.
Any recommendations, please? xPlease call me 'Pickle'
