I used up a deodarant this morning, it was half full when I started it?
I gave the girl in reception where I work a body butter I bought in Australia a couple of years ago, I didn't like it and I know she loves body butter and also I gave her a tube of L'oreal Nutrisummer, I used it once and it irritated my skin. Boy is she happy.
DS just about finished a Lynx bodywash, found it in the bin with a bit left so I have put a drop of water in so he can finish that tonight :T
I have decanted a Lush Good Karma shower gel into a hand wash dispenser, I really hate it. I hate Lush stuff and this was a present, the soap that came with it went in the bin, god does it irritate my skin, don't know why, but I haven't got rid of the dry irritable patches from it yet, must put more moisturiser on them:rotfl:

Am I the only girl in the world who hates Lush?
8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T

after sorting all my stash I decided to pack 3 make up bags(all free at various bonus times) to go in my 3 main big bags with basic make up,spare panty liner, tissues, painkillers and nail file.
1st two were okay but then realized I do not have enough blusher and concealers to do all 3.
My question now is do I let myself buy a new concealer(but not blusher as costs more than the Boots one I use)and a new colour eye pencil(just cos I fancy the colour) from Clinique as they have free delivery if you buy 2 things ....plus 2 free samples of stuff i don't really need???????????????????????????????

Help girls I am relying on you for good advice!

    I say a big fat NO !!

I'm 99% sure that's the one... it looked more pink in the shop though, but might just be my pc monitor warping the colours! And it was only a 200ml bottle.
I'm not trying to encourage you in any way/shape or form, but that one is £18.50 :eek:

Don't do it! I love the idea of make-up bags for big bags to carry around - great way of using stuff up. But then buying more stuff to do it kind of defeats the object of it... Can you just have two little bags and move them around your big bags when you know which one you're carrying?

Must go steal your idea and sort out a little bag of makeup to carry around myself now... :D

ok I give in ,I won't be tempted by nasty Clinique:) so on the plus side just saved myself £28:j

this does not make up for money lost on a Planet top bought in the sales before Christmas that grew shapeless after one handwashing:mad::mad::mad: would complain but have not got the receipt and cant remember how much it costs as bought with other stuff,so annoying when it happens but thankfully quite rare, will have to give to my little sister who has bigger hips than me!

also just paid the council £30 to take away my old cooker, they wont take old radiator as said it's fixtures and fitting and I should take it to the tip myself:mad::mad::mad:sent a sarcastic email saying it's a good job I have a volvo estate then!!!

have now delated Clinique email :p

Used up a sachet of Nivea Radience Boosting Daily Scrub on my hands....tiny sachet so presume it must be for face. WIBA? No. Quite fine grains, but WAY too perfumed for facial use I think. I am lookiing for a good but very gentle facial scrub (mature skin, I suppose I have to say, if that makes any difference where scrubs are concerned ). Happy to use a home-made scrub on hands, feet and body but prepared to invest in something gentle but effective for face. Any recommendations?

I like Origins Modern Friction, but I just tried to find a link and it looks like its been discontinued :( Worse than that, I found that someone on ebay sold a big tube of it for 99p! I'm using Benefit Honey Snap Out of It. Again, I think its fine, but not worth the money (I didnt buy it, I requested it as part of my Christmas ;)) I'd be interested to hear what everyone else is using as a face scrub.

Time to make a move xx

    Morning girls :)
I have been so good this week. Been back at Uni which means I'm in the city centre everyday and close to the evil temptress that is Boots. Haven't succumbed though, but unfortunately I seem to have developed a bit of a reaction to Soap and Glory's 'Clean Mary' facial wash. Anyone else find it a bit astringent? Anyway, it was only a small sized one from the hatbox so I've passed it on to my pal who seems to have skin made of kevlar, never had a flare up in her life, she'll love it.
At least 3 random bottle of generic shower gels have been finished and binned this week along with the last of my DKNY Woman perfume. I've also transferred 2 packs of babywipes, a palmolive shower gel and an FCUK body spray to my locker in the Uni gym.
My bathroom is looking tidier even after a few days of this and I really feel I'm getting somewhere. I don't feel tempted by toiletries at all just now (I've actually been a bit shocked by how much I've got, I am so grateful for this thread opening my eyes!)
Tonight's shower will use up the last of my Body Shop coconut body butter (which I would DEFINITELY buy again, it's really the best body butter out there IMO) and I'll treat my hair to a hot oil from the 3 pack that's been in there for about 4 years! :rotfl:
Keep up the good work girls! :A
Come ride with me, through the veins of history...
I'll show you how God falls asleep on the job.

Sounds good, thanks! Will have a look at the counter first. Determined to see if I can get hold of samples of this sort of stuff if poss before I invest! Well done on deleting the Clinique email btw!!
