    Today I have finished

Mary Kay Timewise eye revitaliser WIBA No, I actually did not purchase this I tested it for the Beauty Bible panel. It did nothing other than moisturise the eye area and cost about £30.00

2 x small tubes of Spa Find moisturiser WIBA yes it was lovely and sunk in easily.

1 x Urban Retreat shower gel WIBA not in a hurry it was nothing special

Evening lovely ladies and a warm welcome to all the newbies! :j

I've not been having a good couple of weeks and am ashamed to admit that in a desperate attempt to cheer myself up, I succumbed to temptation and purchased a No7 topcoat using the £5 voucher and a Dove intensive moisture hand cream for overnight use with my moisturising gloves. :embarasse

On the plus side, tonight I have showered, washed and conditioned my hair, exfoliated, painted my nails a sparkly pink and am moisturised to within an inch of my life. I have also finished up:

Trevor Sorbie Straightening Addict shampoo miniature: would I buy it again?
Nope, it didn't lather particularly well and left my hair lank and greasy within 24 hours.

Body Shop mango body scrub miniature: would I buy it again?
Another no. It smelt nice, but was very greasy and was not exfoliating enough for my liking. I'm looking forward to using my Next coconut scrub soon. :)

    Hello Babafette,
with all you have had to contend with you deserve a bit of pampering and it sounds to me like you did it in a very financially restrained way.:)

I'm putting my make-up on every day :D I have so much and just like the packaging... but Benefit is expensive! I also feel heaps better for it :D

Todays lesson - don't bulk buy (nivea x 3) unless you've tried and liked that specific product. Liking the product sitting next to it on the self will not ensure that you like that one too

Thats a very good lesson to learn. I would add that the lesson I need to learn is not to stockpile quantities to last the next decade when I do like something, just because its on special offer. I have to remind myself that there will always be another product that will take my fancy.
  • That is such good advice about bulk buying stuff that you've never tried before... I am guilty of it, too. I think another problem with bulk buying is that once you've got through your 11th bottle of the same shampoo/conditioner/*insert product here* you are SO sick of it that you never want to use it again!

Temptation set in again today... this time it was in B&M. They had Benefit body wash for £1.79. I'm not much of a body wash/bubble bath person, but it caught my attention as it seemed cheap? I didn't buy it though!

    I would have bought it:o

unfortunately I seem to have developed a bit of a reaction to Soap and Glory's 'Clean Mary' facial wash. Anyone else find it a bit astringent?

It's a face scrub so should only be used a couple times a week if you have sensitive for up to 4 times a week for normal skin, were you using it every day?
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

  • I feel like I'm really struggling today, the new boots £5 off voucher comes out today and they have a 1/3 off soap and glory

I've got so much lovely stuff and really don't need any more. I've not bought anything since starting the challenge on 21st but I feel like my resolve is melting!

I used it on Sunday night then last night. Too much do you reckon?
Oh well it's gone now. I prefer wipes anyway, of which I have plenty! :o
    It doesn't feel scrubby!

I'm having to have a touch up wednesday! Nail polish has not lasted well this week!

Hoping to finish this dire Vanilla Natural Collection bath foam this week WIBA: no but it does give lots of bubbles, it's just boring.
