Oh no, I've been so awful lately. I ordered toiletries from Avon AND made trips to Boots and Superdrug.
But no more toiletries. I promise!Sometimes our light goes out but is blown into flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this light.

Also i always use a good conditioner, and once a week if its very dry i pop olive oil in it, wrap my hair in cling film and pop a warm towel on it for half hour before i wash it. But its not been dry for ages now and the hairdresser says i sould try seeing if i can get by without washing it for as long as possible, cause washing it can strip out all te natural oils.

thanks for all the advice. My mum used to say the same to me about washing my hair too much. But I find it too therapeutic to stop.:o
I did have a look at the conditioneronly method but it is really not for me. I think I will try to only use the hairdryer on the low heat and cut out the shine sprays. I do use an intensive conditioner a couple of times a week. Maybe I will cut that down to one and go back to using jojaba oil with the cling film once a week. Well at least it gives the family a laugh to see me with hair mask and face mask on.:D0 -
Also for anyone that remembers i put 70 items last week on ebay and i made £370!! i was so shocked. So for anyone hanging onto items that you won't use... do it!! i'm going to pay off my CC with it!
That's fantastic. There's nothing I dislike in my stash, it's just that there's so much of it.:rotfl:I went away and now I'm back.:j:j0 -
salesaddict wrote: »Also, the little nutriheat capsules that you can use with the nutriheat haidryer. They are so good for hair with a tendency to dryness but they are also an expensive habit that I need to replace. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks
I use the Nutriheat dryers too, the MSE trick is to let your hair get about 2/3 dry before using it!! Then you only need to dry it for 3-4 mins and hey presto, you get 7-8 uses from one capsule!!! HTH. They really are fab, aren't they? Also for anyone that remembers i put 70 items last week on ebay and i made £370!! i was so shocked. Wow, I am gobsmacked!!!! What kind of things did you sell? I have 4 items on eBay currently and none of them are doing very well ha ha...lostinrates wrote: »mascara. I almost always buy a mascara airside. I'm always disappointed. To buy or not to buy? If I buy.....sigh....where is the most comprehensive and upto date place to read reviews? I'll spend anything if its actually going to do what I want it too (define and LENGTH).
Lancome Hypnose. :A Or if you are being MSE, 2True's mascara from Superdrug is AMAZING. It costs £1.95 or 3 for £5 and comes in lots of colours. I love the blue!

The shampoo mini tube I just finished was 30ml and did me 5 washes if thats any help. (Chin length hair) Do you have any small bottles / tubs you could try out so you know before you go? (or refill an empty to try it out?) A sanctuary mini shower gel certainly was fine for 5 days (4 nights) away for me before now with a bit left.
Hmm, it would be 9 nights so maybe pushing it a bit. I'll take your advice and get a small bottle to do a test-drive.
If it doesn't work out I could either take 2 of each bottle, or take one big(ish) bottle of shower gel/shampoo in one. Not sure what good that'd do me though for looking elegant in the sun. :rotfl:0 -
