Wow!! I have just discovered this thread and would love to join you all please. I have been inspired by some of your lists and am now off to inventory my airing cupboard, bathroom cupboards, bathroom drawers, bedroom drawer and wicker drawers which are all full of junk(sorrry - toiletries!) which I have amassed over the years!
I will be back!!!

Hehe, me too.
I so need to stop buying toiletries for a long time, I have loads still to use up and yet again today I found myself wandering around Superdrug and brought more body lotion (I have enough to last me a year lol) just because it was on offer.
I got 2 S&G hatboxes and 3 big bathers for xmas so Im not short of anything nice lol.
Must behave and keep away from smelly's for a while :rotfl:Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

I am gonna crack
I have this thing for bubble bath atm, the whole of my pregnancy I have craved soap from dove stuff (has to be blue one) and especially dove cream bar! the bubbles feel so good and taste delicious :rotfl:
I have managed to stop myself eating the soap now (was nibbling bars, got told off by OH) but I can't stop showering and bathing to feel the bubbles against my skin
As a kid my mum has always been an avon rep, i was boguht up with soft pink bubble bath, recently my mum stopped doing it  and I want some of that bubble bath so badly I have found someone who is a local rep :rotfl: and looking at the book there is a few other smells I want to try
I need to step away from the avon book!2010 resolutions1- get my 5yo DD dry daytime, with enuresis help dry since 12th Jan so far!
2-Lose 3 stone inc giving birth :j baby born 11/02/10! lost 2 stone, 1 more to go!

actually, having never been pregnant, my feeling is I'd be pretty much indulging myself. If bathing will do (eating doesn't sound too healthy!) and you can afford it then do it. Perhaps some of the hoarders with too many bottles near you can off load some on to you?
Also, if you have a stash of lotions/body creams, make sure you are using them.
as regards smells, my sister's preferences changed a lot while she was pregnant, and afterward the scents that suited her were different too0 -

Its my third pregnancy and everytime I have craved dove soap lol but after I give birth the smell repulses me :rotfl: pregnancy does weird things to you for sure!2010 resolutions1- get my 5yo DD dry daytime, with enuresis help dry since 12th Jan so far!

I have had mixed results with P&P serum. I started using it in the summer a couple of years ago and it irritated my skin. I left it and tried again several months later and I had no problems. I bought another bottle earlier in the year but have nearly ran out. I'm not sure whether to try the Aldi serum or just do without. I am not convinced it makes any difference to me.
My hairdresser advised my dd not to use Pantene shampoo as it has silicone in it which makes your hair shiny the fist time you use it but after a while it builds up and make it dull.
I am going to stop buying so many hair finishing products. I hardly use them and they never give the results they promise.0 -

I haven't seen Ponds for ages...are they still in existence?

OK, after googling, unilever owns Pond's which seems very much in existence0

having read all this amazing (and fast growing ) thread i spent the afternoon going through my stash.....OMG I am even worse than I thought and no way will I reveal the contents, enough to say I will never have to buy any more shower gel!
Thought I had done well, only to remember the stuff in the airing cupboard once I came down stairs.
1 thing I didn't find(and I am sure there must be some hiding ) was face mask and had planned a girlie bathroom night as OH off to spend night in posh hotel without me.......due to his work and due to mine I can't go with him
:(:(:(
planning the full works so should be a vision of loveliness for work tomorrow!
Whilst looking in the airing cupboard discovered the shampoo I had delivered last week was for blondes.......not in this house, getting seriously worried so no buying new toiletries has come not a moment too soon.0 -
It's Paint Your Nails Monday guys!!
Today I am sporting one of my new No.7 Cotton Candy nailvarnishes, a pale pinky white, very different to what I normally wear so pleasantly surprised!
What would I buy again? St Tropez exfoliator, its by far the best. Its my third pregnancy and everytime I have craved dove soap lol but after I give birth the smell repulses me :rotfl: pregnancy does weird things to you for sure!
This is so true, during my first pregnancy my dh's aftershave use to make me puke (i also had hypermesis throughout which didnt help) so he had to stop wearing it lol. Also hated my mums curry:o, such a pain , so the lovely lady use to do me snacks to eat instead:o.

xxYou laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

I am definitely going to be more aware of what works and what doesn't, and am actually considering making a list of the best performing stuff and only buying that when my stash is finished - and only on offer of course as some of them are very dear!! I already have a few products in mind e.g.:
Skin Doctors Relaxaderm
P&P day cream (if I could justify the expense!!!)
Boots Vitamin E day and night cream
Olay Total Effects day cream
Body Shop cucumber cleanser and toner (although I would like to perfect the OCM so may not need these - currently do it 2x per week and it is lovely)
Superdrug Evening Primrose eye cream (now discontinued boo hooooo)
Body Shop body butters
I would be interested to see everyone else's lists and will be adding to mine.
I wanted to do this with a conditioner but by the time I had finished it and decided I quite liked it I found out it had been discontinued  Another reason not to stash toiletries :jDid owe £9,951.96
