Sadly I'm on my own so no OH use it up...
Not sure my Mum would appreciate a half used bottle of shampoo I hate either! :rotfl: Its ok - I'll just swap it for another nicer shampoo at the weekends to keep me going. What do they add to that stuff? Its as if it leaves something on my hair rather than completely cleaning it... very odd. I've still got the matching conditioner to use up too...
Lol, know what you mean, feels a b it odd to give something you dont like, but saying tat, i told one of my collegues that i didnt get on with a trevor sorbie colour shampoo i had bought (was pregnant at the time and thought my scalp had become sensitive at the time, but later found that made no difference and still made me itch) She actually volunteered to have it of me (which i was glad of as hate waste) but poor ting had the same problem:eek:.

Do you think it's ok to give a cleanser I have as a present?? It was a present to me from my sister, and it's unopened and still has the plastic over it. It's a lancome one:

I'm oil cleansing now and never want to change to anything else tbh!!!
It's for my sil and she's very label conscious so thought this would be idea. Any thought???0 -
Wow!! I have just discovered this thread and would love to join you all please. I have been inspired by some of your lists and am now off to inventory my airing cupboard, bathroom cupboards, bathroom drawers, bedroom drawer and wicker drawers which are all full of junk(sorrry - toiletries!) which I have amassed over the years!
I will be back!!!

Anyone noticed that some things, generally the ones you don't particularly like, last for ages when you're making a real effort to use them up?! I don't really like Eight Hour Cream (meant to be the saviour of all womankind) but it's lasting forever! I'm making an effort to use up products so I'm hoping that I'll be much improved soon.
As for serums, I'm now using up an old Olay one and love it. I'm not sure what I'll do when it runs out. Can anyone recommend one? Is the hype true about Boots P&P?
I don't like it either, too thick and gloopy and smelly and just generally a bit minging _pale_
I do like the P&P, but I've probably not been using it long enough to listen to0 -

I love bubble baths (especially with the spa jets on :A), not so keen on bath oils. I prefer body creams/butters to lotions too.
Won't buy any shower scrubs (not that I did anyway, the three that I have either came in a gift set (FCUK, they do smell utterly amazing though!) or were freebies (I have an origins ginger one) when you spent so much (won't be doing that again either). I prefer exfoliating gloves and normal shower gel.
I don't bother with toner either.
I will never, ever buy cheap disposable razors again either. Even my daughter gave me a talking to when I cut myself with them :rotfl:
Welcome muchowing - it's quite addictive when you get started :j0 -
I'm going to break the mold here: I hate Boots P&P. It did nothing or me and peeled on my skin and felt icky. I do use a serum, but not that one. Still, thats why choice is such a great thing. I had hoped P&P would be it, because its cheaper than what I use, but c'est la vie. The back of my hands benefitted from mine until it was used up.0

Well my home dye has worked a treat, who'd have known nice hair could be so cheap! The conditioner you get in the box works wonders too, my hair feels really soft,. thought it was going to be a big frazzled mess, and it straightened well too. OH will NEVER believe I've not been to the hairdresser's today.
I have never understood women who get upset when their OH doesn't notice they've had their hair done. I don't WANT mine to notice, he only moans about the cost! Easy for him to say, his gets done free by me with the clippers!! Ha ha.
Off to Uni now with my lovely shiny new CHEAP hair.
Result!
Did you go lighter or darker? I want to do my hair this week, but have NO idea what shade to go for!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Sounds great, id love it:o. Put some ribbon around it , or put in those stiff plastic bags (cellophane ones??) with some sprinkles and a few minis or a sponge or even coordinating foil covered choccies then wrap with ribbon, i did this for teachers and some rellies for cristmas and they went down very well. I remember reading that there are polymers in their conditioners which coat the hair but damage it after a while, maybe the same is true for the shampoos xoDo you think it's ok to give a cleanser I have as a present?? It's Paint Your Nails Monday guys!!
Today I am sporting one of my new No.7 Cotton Candy nailvarnishes, a pale pinky white, very different to what I normally wear so pleasantly surprised!
What would I buy again? St Tropez exfoliator, its by far the best. Just tried Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation and it is fab, worth the £25all the cheaper versions come off so easily, this was truly on all day
