openned a new soap today (and threw end of old one away....sorry money savers....my sister bought me one of those things you put old bits in and make a new bar......yeuk new bars for me)

re shops,I live 12 miles from the nearest shops .....BUT there is always online so my supplies in the cupboard dont run out.

Next months challenge is to have a frugal February and only buy things I really need, toiletries, food and clothes :(:(:(:( not looking forward to it but at least it's the shortest month and if i do well I plan a treat of a hot stone body massage :):)

I'm not yet, but I wil be this afternoon (although to be fair, I have a rake of stuff on Ebay) as I have come to realise that free space and calm means more to me than the possessions cluttering it up.

Pickle has gone all zen! ;)

    Me too!!
Hi, me three, my upper arms and knees have improved the most.
minced lamb and potato curry tonight , ds1s choice, so nice when someone suggests something to cook, think thats half the battle ;).

    Nab

    xx

Yum, I want some of that curry!

I got a nice package in the post today from Origins - a 50ml tube of Modern Friction!! I had the InStyle voucher and none of the 3 Origins counters I visited in town had any, so I rang them to complain and they said that they would post one out to me. So it's a freebie :o and I hardly have any facial scrubs (excuses!!!). Apparently it's worth £11.20 according to what the full size product would cost (!) so I'm off to put that amount into my savings pot, which now stands at £61.90. :j:j:j:j

  • Morning all (only just). Enjoyed a long lie in this morning and a fab long shower (don't do baths). Not finished anything today so far but when i go moisturise in a minute am going to try and get the dregs out of my Molton Brown moisturiser, so that will be finished later.

Off to footy this afternoon so will have moisturiser ready for my face when i get back as it always feels dry after sitting outside for 3 hours!

Texas BBQ mince and rice tonight and scales showing another 1.5lbs off so hopefully by weight in on Tueaday i will have hit my half stone in 3 weeks! (Following WW). YAY!

Ooh sounds great , would you share the recipe pls, always trying to find new ways with mince cause kids love it and its very money saving as i usally add finely grated veg and soya mince to make it go further and add nutritional value.

Brilliant! I have just had massively arguement with Molton Brown customer services over shoddily packaged things (40th birthday present for a friend) so I have decided never to buy anything Molton Brown again!

Well I managed to finally use up a cherry blossom palmolive shower milk today but am still working on the last dregs of listerine and a boots face wash-Have decided to rinse my mouth out with the mouthwash everytime I snack on anything today so I can get rid of it once &for all.
Found 3 tubs of boots hair gel and some types of hair putty/wax which I will pass onto my brothers(OH is losing is hair but won't stop buying his hair products in the hope that hair growth will miraculously increase one day).
Have also promised mum some sanctuary products-I have a box full which sanctuary sent me after I had a reaction and another box from bootsing.
    Love can tame the wildest

Well i finally finished something else today - a box of pantyliners. Not exciting but i seem to stash them and always buy jumbo boxes so they last forever. 1 down only 4 more boxes to go!! Should also finish a shampoo this weekend as only a dreg left in the bottle.

I managed to buy some always when it was on offer in Makros. I think I managed to get something like 10 packs for £5.00 or something rediculous like that and then shortly afterwards I was told by my consultant to continuously take the pill  I am now allowed 2 periods a year so it will take me forever to use them up :(

I finished off a Body shop pomegranite body polish this morning, I have 6 more to go, I bought them for less than half price when they discontinued them 2 years ago. (I think I bought 16) in total:eek: really bored of it now.

I have just enough Tommy Guns Dew Drops for one more use, then onto the frizz ease.

I need deodarant and have two bogof vouchers for Dove, I use this so am very happy. I am going to try all the "flavours" on the list as thety sound gorgeous. I use the cucumber and green tea and love it! and it is is on the list :T

Joesaunt, I have used the grapefruit and lemongrass one before and that is really nice. I have also bought the water lily and freshmint one to try. Wouldn't mind trying the cucumber and green tea one too
