I also got hooked on those £5 Boots vouchers, couldn't resist revisiting & revisiting the check out. This is really good to stand up & share amongst all you Boots addicts. I also have been a victim of BOGOF & cannot squeeze another John Frieda tube of shampoo under the bed, I have enough to take me into the next decade.

Can I join in case I weaken - you can be my rock when I feel a Boots urge coming on, or another 'this anti-wrinkle cream will really work' moment, or a must stuff my trolley with BOGOF spree.

    Do you have an oath?

Aaagh, shampoo and conditioner BOGOFs are a huge temptation for me - i have so many of each on shelves, waiting to be used. It'll take a while...

I haven't seen an oath so far, but that woudl be funny :D And people do seem pretty good at the whole range of gentle dissuasion to serious scolding, with liberal use of smilies :p Makes it funny to resist, which is good.

Oooh, my Olay eye pods and some body lotion from Latestinbeauty arrived today - must use this weekend! I'm already getting stressed about where to put them until they are used :rotfl: I am looking forward to trying them actually...

I have enough sanitary items to last me till the menopause and then some! I had a massive bag full when I moved (In August) and my sister-in-law gave me more and then I bought two packets because I wanted the lipglosses (they were for presents I hasten to add).

I am going to use them all up before I even think about buying more, even though there are some brands I don't like.:T

I do the opposite - forget to buy them and then end up nearly running out and panicking! I suspect it's that there is no excitement in buying them - they just have to be got, bit like milk!

I'm having a dilemma - does a new toothbrush count? I don't know whether to add it to my tally or not?

Nope - doesn't count so long as it's not more than one every 3 months! :rotfl:

Its the other way round here. We use way more conditioner, and so often the bottles are smaller. :( (We conditioner only wash...another improvment found via MSE)

Yup, although not as much as I used to as I tend to buy in a ration of 1:2. I think most people wash their hair twice but only condition it once, which is why you end up with more of one than the other. (At least, that's what I do! ;))

  • Probably not the best place to ask (or maybe it is, since collectively we've probably tried every beauty product known to man!) but can anyone recommend me a good facial exfoliator that is also ok for super sensitive skin?

Can i join in please? I have a drawer full of spare face stuff. a drawer full of body stuff and so many lipsticks.
I also received loads more at Christmas.
I find i can use all the bath and shower bits, but the body lotion sticks around for ages. Will make more of an effort thsi year or give it to the charity shop.

One thing I've found as a result of doing this is that my skin on my body feels massively better for using body lotion or cream on it every day. The difference is quite surprising actually. I usually find I shy away from shaving my legs as I always get shaving rash on them - I suspect that the problem may not be as noticeable now - I shall find out shortly as I'm going to have a bath!

So what about my Lush dilemma then eh? Eh?

    *argh torture*

Hush! There IS no dilemma Tara - we established earlier on that you don't need any of that stuff didn't we! ;)

Well I've got the water on ready for a bath on a while - that will be some more of the radox bath stuff used and some more of MrEH's mini tube of shaving gel if I do my legs. I've got another half bottle of bubble bath after that (a "Naked" one) and then a full bottle that has been about for literally years. It's nice though - smells of oranges. Oh, and a tub of Sanctuary Mande Susu as well. Problem is, I'm on the contraceptive patch, which means I have one week a month, plus every Friday night when I can have a good soak in the bath, as the rest of the time I'm worried about the risk of the patch coming adrift. That tends to mean that bubble bath type stuff lasts a long while. :o

Is the Sanctuary stuff from one of their newer ranges Nab? Not seen that one about. I'm hooked on the Mande range - absolutely love the smell!
