    i've finished off:

a tub of scrubby stuff that i've had since time began
    a tube of moisturiser
a mini 'hugo boss woman' purfume that i had in a gift set about 5 years ago
    a tube of curl creme

best of all, i have spares of each in my stash so no need to part with any money to replace anything. i did buy a simple facial moisturiser as i'm down to the last dregs of the johnson and johnson one which i'm currently using (but am not too keen on).

    Hi all,

pleased to see everyone seems to be doing well. I have used up

    * a neutrogena moisturising foundation, feels like I've had it for years, since I only used it occasionally, but have been using it up every day. WIBIA? NO!!! damn tube lasted for ever and it was ok, but not great!!

    * one bar of olive oil soap, bought (with loads of other bars, on a holiday years ago to greece, or spain, or turkey)
WIBIA? NO!!! I have hundreds more to use up,I may never have to buy shower gel again!

    * one lipstick, rimmel nice pinky red colour. So old I can't read original label. WIBIA? NO!! I have 5 million other lipsticks, all very nice, all pinky red!!

    * one tube of S&G body butter. WIBIA? Maybe, when I use up all the other stuff I have. On second thoughts, I think I probably prefer bodyshop body butter.

I also have a few more items which are about finished, but i am trying to make last over the weekend.

A bit off topic, I am also taking this using up lark into other areas, I am using up all the half open jars of honey, jam, marmalade, chocolate spread, mustard etc I have in the kitchen, as well as all the partially open bottles of spray kitchen & bathroom cleaners, before I buy any more!:j

I have a confession to make - I was completely rubbish today.
I was in TJ Hughes and they had boxloads of makeup reduced to 30p/50p ... it was all mucky as foundation had spilt all over it, but there was stuff like Bourjois 'So Laque' nail polishes and blushers which are around £5 in Boots... for 30p each I couldn't resist, I've never seen them so cheap anywhere.

I 'splurged' and spend a little under £2. Someone tell me off please.
    :shocked::shocked::shocked::naughty::naughty::shocked::shocked: Nuff said.
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

That sounds so much like me KC, I am using up all my opened bottles & tubs of cleaners.

I have decanted 5 of OH's shower gels into 1 bottle, in the vanity unit in the bathroom I have removed all full bottles & cans :rotfl:and left all the half opened items for him to use up.

I feel a little mean :D but he does open & use everything he can find.

Yes I mixed Original Souce, Anatomicals, FCUK, No.7 & Lynx :rotfl: he did comment that it looked a funny colour and that there appeared to be more in the bottle than was there yesterday.

Tara really glad you resisted lush :) Given the fact so many of you seem to be worried about it going off, I think it would be a terrible idea to buy it now.

Seemingly by the amount of lush stuff people have- there are often offers :D

Im not a lush fan, going in the shop gives me a headache.

Another no spend day on toiletries. I nearly diverted to a town centre to go to wilkinsons to look at seeds and see if they had any Xmas bits, but thought Id put of bitty shopping as that generally involves some sort of toiletries and Im going to HB next week so usually fill the stocks  Will def be restrained next week.

I doid pop into the a boots and had a wry smile to myself at the chilli pepper body butters set- that and the luxury biscuits were the only thing left! Did start queuing for a pair of earrings, I ws going to pay with points will IO remembered my new cards on order as Boots cant read the chip. Ho hum.

I dont have a lot of points, but will probably use them on coconut conditioner as it is really cheap and one of the favourites.

Gotta agree with this actually. As I was using the M&S shea, I know it is nowhere near as good as the BS one. Every other body butter Ive had is nowhere near as good- the BS seem to last a lot longer too.

WHEN i need one - wont be for a while, Ill be going to body shop.

What this challenge has taught me so far is that novel is certainly not BETTER!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
