Ive found 3 bottles of nail varnish remover - and I dont wear nail varnish !!!!
ME TOOOO. I think i found 3 bottles and 3 packs of removal wipes. I wear nail varnish once in a blue moon - and when i do weart it i wear it till it has chipped its way off.......... perhaps I should just bin them....... or donate them to someone who does wear it........ so if there is anyone in Sheffield short of some........loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
I need to join this challenge - I've not started to round up the toiletries that are scattered around my house yet - but suspect I have enough of everything for at least the next 6 months.
I have 3 identical pink No 7 nail polishes, can only assume from when I had £5 vouchers to use up! And I still have body lotions from last christmas but had to buy a Soap & Glory hatbox, and got quite a few toiletry presents this christmas.
I have loads of Lush bubble bars, but hate to waste them so end up buying radox instead? Still have some Lush stuff from last years grab bags!0 -
Count me in too. This will be hard (as I LOVE Boots and I am a sucker for a GWP), but... its ridiculous that I am still buying stuff and filling up cupboards when I have loads of stuff already.
I feel like I am cheating slightly as I got two of the big Soap and Glory hatboxes for xmas, already mentioned on here, as well as a lot of perfume etc for xmas, so I do have a lot of favourites stockpiled which makes it easier. I am too scared to list what I have as I think you would be horrified, but when feeling braver I will give listing everything a go.Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -
I've just acquired another body moisturiser
:rotfl:
I didn't buy it, btw! :rotfl:0 -
I've binned a few part used body lotions and hand creams today, can't see who would want them, so decided to just go for it and not feel guilty.
In the last year I've reduced our toiletry stash loads by:- Giving 3 carrier bags full to asylum seekers charity (mostly from gift sets given to my OH by his family, he uses about 1 set a year and gets given 4 or 5)
- Selling items on ebay - Body Butter and Molton Brown products sold OK, plus lots of unused make up, particularly mascaras, I had loads didn't get much for them but cheap to post)
- Gave some baby products to my cousin who was expecting (got rid of my nappy stash from Tesco baby vouchers)
- Using up what we had
- Not visiting toiletry aisle in Tesco
Only thing I do need is some hair remover cream, so will buy that with my Boots points, then go cold turkey from them on.0 -
Can we add Make up to this list too? I am a make-up buying addict!0

Phew - I was worried you were in danger of running out in the next ten years....
Im still in the bathroom.... Perhaps we should start a swap-"shop" !!!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Count me in too. I tried to do this last year and was quite successful but i did not keep a record of the money i saved and how well i did. I got lots of beauty bits and bobs for xmas so should be fine for a couple of months. Going to make a list of everything i have so i can be super organised.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

I have definitely counted make up in this challenge, but mascara is as important as toothpaste or soap to meDarn, if we were close @Caroline73 I have some spare!
Thanks though. I'm going to nip up to my Mum's later - I'm sure I can swap something with her. She needs to do this challenge more than anyone. Bless her - she had some Cristalle perfume that was bought for her last year and she doesn't like it so has been using it up, she'd nearly finished it and my step dad bought her some more as she was low on it!
Happy New Year all!0 -
Happy New Year to all!
Has anyone decided how they'll document what money they've saved or acquired by e-baying what they don't use ? Anybody got a goal in mind, or a big treat to save for? It's just that this may be a useful reminder when temptation is at its greatest:eek:
BTW: had to buy deodorant yesterday but used Boots points to get it!:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
