Remember that the serum will fall to the side of the tube when you lie it on its side. Or prop it up in a corner so it falls to the top of the glass bottle.
That's what I do with similar problems :)

Thanks, I'll try all your suggestions and report back! :T

  • Queen,

I feel your pain in both your posts. I wish you the best of luck.
You should post on here when ever you are weakening. The lovely ladies here have really helped me.

Thank you for your welcome and kind words. I know it's possible to reach a place where I buy only the things I need but i's going to be hard to get out of the habit of 'treating myself' on a little something here and there. But I plan to suscribe (if someone tells me how) and update on a regular basis.

Nah sounds like you have some lovely stuff in the stores to use ;)

I have, I just need to remind myself of that when I get the urge to buy more!

Welcome!!!! You found us then :D It is hard but the daily pampering sessions are soooo good and make you really appreciate the lovely products you have! I (and a few others) am trying to use the bog standard stuff during the week and Sanctuary/S&G/posh stuff at weekends, just for a little treat! That way the bog standard stuff goes down faster and the posh stuff lasts longer :D There's also Paint Your Nails Monday (or if you have a huge nail varnish stash, you can redo them daily lol!).

Thank you for the good tips, I might have to have 2 nights when I paint my nails because it doesn't matter what I use as topcoat I seem to chip them after a couple of days!
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

I have no doubt that they are!! My last mailing went in the bin! We could become a nationwide movement!! :j:j:j:j

Wow! That's amazing. I feel quite sick about the fact I've only used my double points coupon once and now in my head it's gonna get wasted cos I won't use it

Girls, rip up the vouchers and be free.

There will be oppertunity to shop again, when you have cleared space. And with what you save on voucher topping up you can put towards something for the future/for a child/for a husband/mother... is the deoderant worth losing out on that for? ;)

Someone on here posted that if you get the urge to buy something new, you should get something (unused) from your stash, put it in a carrier bag, carry it around for a while and then open it and it's as if you've been shopping but without the spending bit!!! :rotfl:

I thought it was great advice. Can't find the post now - who was it again?

    LOL, clever you.

    My weird secret?

    I colour code our bathroom/and my moods/scent.

Its a neutral bathroom, and I don't work, so get time to swap products over once a week, when it gets a deep clean. I like warm scents in winter, clean white scents in spring and leafy/fresh scents in summer..for things like soap./handwask and rushed showering. Then of course is all the other stuff...like what perfume I'm wearing...whch requires more subtle layering for showering/lotioning.

These kind of rotations keeps things ''interesting'' for me. I get bored easily and am very influenced by fragrance and novelty.
