    OMG OMG OMG

You must live walking distance from the boots clearance store

    The WHAT, the WHAT????

How good is it....I need to know, seriously, I feel whipped up into a Boots frenzy by some of you lot...a positive frenzy....;)
  • Hi all.

Tara yes its the sun protection spray i use as a detangler. Never used it as an overnight conditioner but cannot see why not.
I finished a Tony & Guy detox shampoo yeah. Wiba oh yeas it does exactly what it says on the tin and smells gogeous, shame it was my last one lol. I have now got to get through my hundreds of various trevor sorbie ones now:o. But hey £2 more in my tin.

Do keep posting when you finish something pls its very inspiring and also i love the product reviews too, thanks.

Someone mentioned that they didnt much like smelling of food? Must say i love it, not garlic, onion etc mind:p, but eg i love Angel by thierry mugler and think it smells of chocolate, i love ginger, honey, vanilla, sweets etc too, all the sickly sweet fragrances are my fave lol, but then again im partial to very fresh fragrances too, hence my toiletry addiction:rotfl:.

    Nab

    xx
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Its so weird, i never realised or thought that Boots was a great beauty shop. The only things i buy from it are hair care products and sometimes Barry M makeup. Have been thinking though about the boots sale but not going there. Going to go straight home from work - luckily the bus stop is straight outside and i have no reason to walk through the town.

Thank you! I will def have a look at that. She's 3 and has very fine but curly hair and wakes up with such a birds nest every morning!! We use loads of the stuff lol.

My dh is driving me nuts!! He gets near the bottom of something (showergel, mouthwash, hair products) and buys a new one, which is fine BUT he starts the new one and doesn't finish the old one!!!! Drives me mad..........

yes, MrEH does this with deodorant - drives you barmy doesn't it! I periodically go through those he has open and hide those with the most in and just leave him one out in use. :o

I live in West Beckton (posh name for Custom House)

Thanks, I'm going to Stratford next week. Also, there's a Pound shop my neighbours are raving about in Gallions Reach I must check out.

West Beckton....ROFPMSL!!! :rotfl: I used to work in Silvertown and the company I work for built Gallions reach. I spent quite a bit of time on the site down there as it was coming out of the ground. Was probably a good thing when I moved away mind as I used to spend a fortune at lunchtime once the centre opened!

I've used a sachet of Sanctuary face mask tonight and am still working through the creme souffle. It's lovely stuff and really easily absorbed. I'm about half way through the tub now, and it's a BIG tub! I've also painted my nails again this evening as I went through my varnishes earlier on and discovered rather a lot that I forgot I had! :oI am now wearing a gorgeous Max Factor Nailfinity colour in Gilded Ruby. :D

It's about a 10-15 minutes bus ride from where I live. I've been there and bought stuff. I don't often go in there and I find it a bit depressing. Mainly go that way for Argos, Staples, Comet and PC World.

I'm now trying to work out where this is by those stores.....it's gotta be over on the old retail park where Boots used to be, hasn't it?!

I know wht you mean about depressing :) its jsut a soulless plex of the usual suspects. Mcds, B&Q, staples, sofa places that have probably closed down.

Boots clearance. Yes its good. Yes its worth going to.

But for heavens sake only buy stuff you NEED. I have learned beofre this challenge to fill the basket then have a solid appraisal. Not solid enough given the amount of stuff I have here.

Maybe we should all go together to ensure we stick with the programme :rotfl:

Youll find out anyway- its on Claps Gate Lane, E6.

    I feel terrible now.

Salesaddict, I implore you. PUt it off until you are stronger.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • I'd like to join please...I promised myelf I'd start after the boots 75% off sale, and I got a weeks grace as it was postponed. But I have more than enough stuff to keep me going. I've sorted the bathroom out and put everyhing in a big cardboard box in the cellar - even half opened stuff, I think I'm going to seperate it into two boxs, things that have been opened and things that haven't and use up the opened stuff first.

I've got enough body butters to cream the whole of a football team for a season!! I do use it eery day though, sometimes twice a day but still the amount I've got is excessive.

I've got a huge box of make up despite having regular clear outs.

The only thing I will need to buy in the near future is nail varnish remover because there is only a tiny dreg left in the bottom and oddly I haven't had a compulsion to bulk buy that

I've got another hatbox to collect (which was a gift from OH) and a sancturary gift set to collect which is a pressie for mum next xmas.

I need to stay OUT of boots, which I'll find very hard if they have a voucher for S&G or any super points gliches. But I also need to stay out of wilkos, superdrug, asda, tesco, £1/99p shop, body shop anywhere that sells toiletries!

I'm going to set myself a 90/3 month challange to start with, only buying things that I have run out of and therefore need rather than things I want or are on offer. I'll review where I am at in 3 months time.

Gonna be tough but I've got to do it and if you ladies can, I can too :)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

I'm inclined to agree with this SA - being brutally honest, you know yourself that you cannot afford to visit somewhere like this at the moment. If you are going to go, could I suggest taking just the amount of cash - yes, real money - that you can actually afford to part with and leaving your cards at home? It realy might be better that way, both for you, and for Lynz, who is going to feel awful now if you go and spend a fortune! (Yes, it's moral blackmail - will I use it again? Hell, yes!)

Don't worry Lynz, I am getting stronger everyday. If I do go I will take ten pounds and leave my debit card at home. Credit card is now in safe keeping where I can't get at it. Thankyou for your kindness and concern.
