Finished an Original Source shower gel, now onto a macadamia and something or other one.

I went into TK Maxx today, as they've had some Molton Brown stuff in, and it's my sister's birthday in a couple of months (it's pretty much all she uses) but they didn't have what I wanted, so I resisted temptation in the way of the Philosophy set of four shower gels reduced to £10 (still got a huge mint one uopened) and came out before I could get distracted by anything else.

Had to go into Boots for a couple of essentials, and had a wander past where the sale items had been - seriously, there was pretty much nothing but tumbleweed there! At one time I might have been tempted by the Chilli Pepper bag for a present, but walked past feeling pleased with myself for not byuing something just because it was reduced. Wish I could say the same about the huge choc slabs. :o

Started using my Avene skincare stuff now - got loads of this so should last a good while.

Can you get the pump off? Then lie it on its side and use the straw to shovel it up?

Boots Canary Wharf (by Waitrose) was very sedate, yes the sale has almost ended. All they had was some things in a box (not toiletries). Was going to buy some Veet wax strips but the sight of those self-service tills, I couldn't be bothered. Nil spent in Boots.:j:j
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

No, the straw isn't long enough. Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe I could get a chainsaw and saw the bottle in half - wish it was a tube LOL!

I thought the products and the bag both looked cheap... even for £8.75 it wasn't worth it! I dread to think people bought it at £35... even on 3for2!!!:eek::eek:

    I've been Money Tipped!
I dn't like smelling too sweet or generally of food, but I make exceptions: cinnamon might be one....MUST resist waitrose-I think! I have four shower gels in rotation now, and one in waiting. (I also love coconut, it being a smell of my childhood, and almond and orange).

It did look pretty cheap. Don't know how anybody could have paid full price (£35 ) for it as there wasn't much in it - three bath products (I think) and a purse that matched the bag.
