    Yes. What's in your stash?

    Thank you :j
    God, where to begin?
Body Shop body butters - 6 or 7 at last count
Soap and Glory - too much to count!
FCUK Pure stuff - loads, got a bit obsessed with it last year :(
But my main thing is perfume. I KNOW I have too much already, but I just can't stop buying it.....
My plan is to only buy deodorant for the foreseeable as I honestly think I can get til at least June or July with everything I've got, if not further!
We should all post pics of out toiletries, shame ourselves into submission!!

Oh yes, and handcreams, I think I have about 8 or 9, all opened and dotted around inside various handbags :(
I have a bit of a hand obsession, like when I see folk with bitten nails I feel a bit sick. I don't have OCD or anything, but I do probably go a bit overboard with the handcream application..... lol

I love soap. I have quite poor health, and one thing that always helps is a bath with soap, like when I was little, before bath stuff got fancy...its warm, it smells clean and fresh but not too strong. I also keep it in my drawers, as its something I tend to buy when I find one I like, and usually I buy it in France or Italy (I also buy talc there, so bulk buy that, conversely, when we were living in Italy I bulk bought eoderant here:o).

Many soaps (not coloured ones!) make excellent household cleaners too, I use my ugly ends of soap for that, my granny used to clean the house with soap, so does my mother occasioanally, and when I went to a convent school the place was always clean and with the sligh smell of fresh soap too. In fact, in both France and Italy its much easier to buy household soap than it is here, and the washing products for home and clothes are often scented of ''soap'' where we might have ''ocean breeze'' or ''summer day'' :)

    I've just realised something!

You're all getting newbies to post their stash so you can go round to their houses, steal it all, and then add it to your own collection!

I've not used anything up since my last post. I'm not working tomorrow night so will have a proper pamper session. Nice bath, moisturise and redo my toenails. Not sure what colour. I'm not working until next Wednesday so I can paint my fingernails too!

Husbands are a law unto themselves aren't they! Mine can't find any of his deodorants that I've hidden (In full view in a clear toiletries bag) and keeps asking for them. I told him he can't have one until he's used up another! I'm so mean!!!!!

  • Morning everyone...

Right here is my list as promised - I haven't listed make up but I have plenty to be going on with, and I've throw a few bits away so I've got it all in one place now.

I haven't included perfume, they are all in the bathroom and get used up bit by bit anyway.

I've got a HUGE bag of nail varnishes which I am yet to count, I do paint my finger and toe nails on a regualr basis (I think I've got every shade of red, repeats and then some!) I find them a cheap little treat, but I really don't need any more

The only thing I need is nail varnish remover, there is plenty of everything else to keep me going for a while. I'm going to use what is in current use and as each thing runs out I'm going to try and use something that I have already opened from my stash.

This list doesn't include the Hatbox OH bought me as a gift that we're collecting today!

What I find quite scary is that this collection has rapidly grown over the last couple of months, I got lots of stuff for xmas and have been buying myself more stuff than usual. But I want it nipped in the bud now before my stash gets any bigger! Plus I've got some lovely stuff that I want to use up!

Can I join as well please. Someone directed me to this thread and this is just what I need. Buying toiletries is my weakness and I can easily spend a fortune on this. Yesterday I didn't start until 2 pm so I took the opportunity to clean our bathroom cabinett and write a content list of all my toilietries to stop myself from getting tempted to buy more. The list I have put in my purse so when I go shopping I can see what I need to buy or not buy. Having loads of toiletries tucked away that I had forgotten that I had, it should be a while until I need to buy some more. I have also made a promise to myself to use up those nearly empty bottles/tubs first in order to reduce the amount that I have got as quickly as possible.

Good luck with the challenge everyone. I am so glad that I found this challenge, it will help me to stay motivated to reduce what I have in my bathroom.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j
