Everyone who's selling parts of their stash - it must feel so good to do this. More money and you don't have as much stuff to feel pressured into using. :T

That's my idea anyway, just got to get around to actually doing it!!

I noticed as well as hoarding toiletries, I also do it with cereal bars; whenever I see boxes of them for £1 I have to get them - even though given the choice I'd reach for chocolate before them anyway. :o

I do this too!! No idea why! :rotfl:

And also I'm a magazine hoarder. Had a huge pile of them by my bed on the floor for so long, I've been reading them at night to get through the pile. I even found a Boots mag from last Jan. Successfully halved the pile by 3am one day last week though.

    Er... and this. :o

By the way, what are hot cleansing cloths and muslin cloths? I've been hearing people mentioning them but don't know what they are.

They are muslin cloths that you use with cleansers such as Eve Lom, Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish etc - you massage the product in and then cleanse with warm/hot water and a muslin cloth.

I did go into Boots yesterday after work and got 2 Garnier products - night cream and eye roll on because my other store didn't have them on 2 for £10 like the website did, so I got those and some vitamins with the 200 extra point voucher from the machine. (99p vitamins, so £1.01 free points) :j

WHY DID YOU REMIND ME ABOUT THIS!!!!!!

    Long post, sorry. :o

    Can I join you please?!...

My weakness is body lotion/creams/butters - I just can't resist, and because I'm paranoid about my age and looking old (hit the big 4 0 this year!) I'm using them like they're going out of fashion.......which is a good thing as I had loads of opened ones! I now have one open and a body butter to use up.

    .

Claireac, I'm the same, a bit younger but dieting, and terrified about extra skin:o. I've been making comparisons of brands (some luxury, some normal highstreet) an I am amazed that so far dove pro age one seems by far the best for my skin, and its 1/5 of the price some of them cost. I have loads open at a time because I know I'll use them and I like to coordinate with scents etc. It also means I can do odd things like half a body with one and half abody with another for personal reviews :D:o

    Gulp.

I've been feeling quite satisfied that my stash was relatively ordered.....and I just found the ''minitures'' I'd forgotten about. DH travels for work a lot and stays in lovely hotels and brings me home the bathroom stuff... what kind of hair is that shampoo designed for anyway...does it turn every bodys hair into straw? --in hotels I use it as a bath product for the nice smell :)...

I was actually looking for something to treat my hair with before a shower tonight, so I'm going to use up a few of the mina ture conditioners as a pre wash conditioning treatment....

I'm going to use up the unexciting soaps for household cleaning. :)

I personally reckon the eye roll on from garnier is a total joke! I'm sorry but I've used it for 6 months, day and night- i look absolutely no different than before. Now I haven't used it for a month- guess what- I LOOK THE SAME! I definitely fell for the marketing on this one- even the other day when I saw it on telly I was like ooooh- then I remembered Id already got it and its useless!

Needless to say its gatherrng dust at the mo- ( has anyone ever used one up  ) alng with some sort of wrinkle filler thats like toothpaste to jam in the fine lines ( I dont think ill ever use this up might throw it)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I haven't got high hopes for it to be honest, but it feels nice when I put it on; very refreshing. Will be nice in summer. :rotfl:

    Me too.

Water is so hard in London that body butters, creams and lotions are a must. Have gone cold turkey and it's hard. A plus is that my spending has been cut by at least 50% also I don't need to buy any more body stuff for a long, long and even longer time.:j:j

    I'm a failure already!

Went into Boots with the sole intention of buying some No7 wipes, and a No7 make up brush with my vouchers. Obviously being the good MSE that I am, I thought 'how can I get another voucher by buying things I need?'

So I bought 2 bottles of bubble bath. :o

Horrible bubble baths are good bath/sink cleaners. I'm using a Boots neroli one and the bathroom smells lovely.

Some posters must not go in Boots on their own. Need someone else to say:
    'Step away from the toiletries'

Ooh I must clarify though, only the bubble bath is for me! The No7 is for a Mother's Day gift! :p
