  • Evening all,
I have such an itch to buy something... although its not toiletries, but still have resited temptation and asked for it for my birthday. Anyway! i have finished a can of mousse, still have two to go tho!!
  • Hello all,

hope everybody is well tonight. I have just finished Tigi Dumb Blonde conditioner, which I think is very apt for me.
It is a good intensive conditioner, I cut the top off in true mse style and scraped out the dregs.
    I can't believe I paid £5 for it.
I won't be buying it again until I have cured myself of my dumb blondness
or if I see it in the £ shop. :o

I apply scrubs with my hands onto damp skin whilst in the shower, I personally use a scub all over my body.

word of advice (and this may simply be TMI) could just have been my cocoa scrub but be careful using exfoliating scrubs in the bath!!! I now get out the bath and do my legs over it before letting the water out after I got a 'bit of a problem' where you don't want it a couple of weeks ago...........for a WEEK!!!
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Ooh I would like to join this please! I will make a proper list of my stuff tomorrow or tonight once I've finished my stupid uni work!

I'm packing up to move in with my Nan and it's ridiculous how much stuff I have! My Nan is gonna freak when she sees how much toiletries I'm bringing with me! :D

I have only just discovered Soap & Glory so I have a bit of a stash of that.

    2 x S&G Hat Boxes
    3 x S&G Clean On Me
    1 x S&G Scentsationalism
    1 x S&G Shower House
    1 x S&G Plane Jane
    1 x S&G Skin Gym
    3 x S&G Scrub of your Life
    2 x S&G mini Flakeaway

Plus tons of other stuff. I have billions of body moisturisers and samples. I'm trying to use the samples before I go, and I made a good start yesterday using 4 of them, and I also chucked out a moisturiser cuz it smelt off.

I'm hoping I can get my stash right down before S&G is on 3 for 2 again otherwise I don't know how I'll resist! :D Luckily with the No7 vouchers I only really use them for the brushes. :)

ETA: I've been reading through this thread for ages now, it's been interesting! :D I can't remember who's been doing it (freya'smum perhaps?) but giving reviews on products is a fab idea. Means we learn from each other and also I can keep track of what works for me and what doesn't so I don't waste money in the future! :T

I tried a sample size of St Ives apricot scrub yesterday and found it worked much better than my S&G facial scrub, although it felt a bit scratchy.

And PYNM is a great idea too - gives you an excuse to paint your nails! Not that you need one really! :p

ALSO! (Geez, epic post!) Someone mentioned rotating stuff and I'm definitely gonna do that so I don't get bored and end up using ridiculous amounts just to get rid of it!

Another supportive husband? Women long for men like these I'm told! Remind him that of you don't buy the hat boxes the money can go towards something you use together. :)

(sour grapes, the only thing I wanted was not left in the half price sale, so I stick my tongue out to boots and their S &G hatboxes...which I didn't see, are they any good :o:D?)

Not convinced on the Gok stuff, but S&G hatbox: yes, I would. The box is gorgeous, and I'm actually going to use mine for hats when I've used the products!
But if you already have one, then you probably don't need it, in which case the answer to your wonderful husband is no!

I haven't got a hatbox and really wanted one :o but I loved the Gok stuff I had for Christmas. My husband is so amazing, I said I'd love either/both (he didn't even know I wanted a S&G hatbox but saw it and thought I'd like it!) and it was up to him. He reckons it won't be cheating if they are presents!

The things in the sets wouldn't be adding too much to my stash as my excess is mostly make up, hair products and deoderants.

Oh well, we'll see when he comes home tomorrow!

It certainly is! I was popping on to remind everyone! Topping up last week helped use a lot of nail varnish!

Today I have "WICKED" on by Avon, it looks black but in some lights shimmers red. I'm feeling vampy having watched both seasons of true blood this weekend :rotfl:

    Paint people paint!

NOOOOOOOOO that sounds just my colour, keep me away from the Avon lady

I don't think it's cheating and if your husband wants to buy it for you then surely thats ok  (as a one off) My oh went to boots and got me a hatbox for xmas after I'd sat up most of the night trying to get one. I'm not much use to you am I? Trying to encourage each other to use what we've already got :o Even when I was being dragged through the s&g display yesterday I could see him looking at stuff he thinks I might like for my birthday :rotfl:

  • Hi ladies hope you are all well, i didnt have time for paint your nails monday so gonna do it today.
But i have a confession, went to see my friend and new baby yesterday and she lives near a big boots, so i went in cause im looking for pjs for the kids (they are half price plus mother and baby moc works so cost £3) and they had S&G reduced, mighty wash and dream feet £1.50 each so bought 2 bottles of each:o:o:eek:. I use mine everywhere except delicate skin i.e. neck, bust and decollete.
