No buying new toiletries etc until.....
Comments

Whn I left husband and moved out in August, I took all my toiletries etc with me (3 suitcases full)
I sorted it all out and haven't bought anything until yesterday when I needed some conditioner. I still have enough shower gel, toothpaste, shampoo etc to last me till Easter or so me thinks!!!!!!
I haven't bought any moisuroser of any type fr over a year as I keep sending for freebies, I have had to stop now as I have enough again till Easter................:T
Can't believe how much money I used to waste on all the "new" products etc.8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T0 -
To all of you who have multiple bottles/tubes/jars of the same thing open, used to do that, but then realsed that it always took me longer to get rid of them that way so now I try to focus on just one and then use that until it's all gone, meaning that I get to get rid of one bottle/tube/jar more quckly and create that little bit more space more regularly.
Just a thought...Please call me 'Pickle'

Hi
Please could I join in?
I've kind of been doing this for nearly a year with the occasional little treat purchase! So I don't really have masses left to use - but I need to be disciplined and not find excuses to buy more! I used to buy disgusting amounts of stuff in Boots but have been better the past couple of years. I just need to step it up a gear - no point in buying lovely new soap from Lush when I have something that will do the job at home. So this is my confessional (although take heart salesaddict - it's been MUCH worse in the past):-
I have enough Lime showergel probably for the next 10 years. I loved it a couple of years ago and bought loads of it on offer - but now I've OD'd on it and it just smells like cleaning fluid to me now. But its tough luck - will keep using it. After the shower gel then I will have about 15 bars of soap to get through!
I have 5 bottles of fake tan LOL.
4x500ml Conditioners which to be honest won't last months and months.
Have 2 shampoos but will last me a while as I only use a little
I have some hair products (like Spray Shine, Dehumidifier, Thermal protection) which I won't use much of - only when I straighten my hair which isn't very often nowadays. But anyway - I won't need to buy any of these in the next few years!
I have 5 Hair Serums but these will last about 2-3 months
I have 3 full body butters and one half used - not sure how long these will last. I'm a bit naughty on the regular moisturising front!
I also have minatures galore - bits of shampoo, showergel, body moisturiser, so want to use all them up instead of having them sat in a drawer.
Perfume - about 5 different bottles on the go
Deoderant - Again I went crazy on my favourite some years ago and now have it down to my last two!!!
Make-up - might need some foundation but everything else should be okay for the next 12 months - even if I do end up wearing a colour I can't abide
Facial Moisurisers - Have already nearly used up my stock of these so will need some shortly. (Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced product that will suit 38 year old combination skin with a 'drainage' problem under the right eye? LOL Due to a minor eye injury I have permenant dark shadow under my eye and the SA on the Chanel counter was trying to sell me something for 'drainage'. I hate the dark shadow but unless i'm convinced something is going to work I'm not going to spend that much!)
Many thanks Katie for running the challenge and a happy New Year to you all0 -
I'l join please. I have loads of stuff which i will organise tomorrow when I put the Christmas Prezzies away.
My sister does Avon an I'm terrible for buying stuff in the sales and then forgetting what I've got and then buying more of what I don't need instead of what I do need. Mind you don't think my sister will be impressed with the loss of orders, lol!0 -

Superdrug sells it, don't know of anywhere else you can get it. I bought it during my super-skint just-graduated phase (I fancied a blue mascara as my eyes are blue but couldn't afford Hypnose) and have never looked back!!!

I love Soap and Glory too, had some more for xmas and smells gorgeous! I've always had a box full of little shower gels and lotions etc, but always seem to 'foget' when shopping and buy more... no more, I must stop!!0
