Hoorah, a thread that feels like it's just for me :) My bathoom cupboards are groaning with everything bar deodorant and toner, so I'm going to join in!

Now to make sure I don't go out specifically to buy toner/deo and end up getting enough for the next 6 years.....:p

You could eBay the BeneFit stuff if there is too much/duplicates? I went through a BeneFit phase pre-MSE :o and the makeup lasts aaaages, esp Dr Feelgood, High Beam, Benetint, Dandelion etc! I have never needed to replace any of it (and won't be now with my newfound stinginess lol!).

I really want to be able to join this challenge – but i don’t think i can. I’ve been thinking about it over the last couple of days but have increased my stash already.

I have sooooo much stuff including stuff -currently unopened.
    • 6 large Avon bubble baths
    • 6 shower gels
    • 15 assorted body butter /cream / lotions.
    • 6 shampoo
    • 10 conditioners / intensive conditioners
    • 6 shave gel.
    • 10 face creams (although no night creams so will need to buy)
    • 5 body scrubs
    • 5 boxes hair dye
    • 10 face masks
    • 2 face scrubs
    • 2 toothpaste
    • 5 Lynx body wash (for bf)
    • 20 Lynx deodorant spray (for bf)
    • 6 packets face wipes
    • 2 cleaning lotion
    • 3 toner
    • 2 foot scrub
    • 3 foot cream
    • 3 hair removal tubes
    • 2 hair spray
    • Half a field worth of cotton wool
And I’m sure more stuff I’ve not counted.... (as have to ‘hide’ a lot so my BF dones’t find out...)

    Also i have boxes under the bed with stuff i will never use;
    • 10 bottle of Botanics gradual tan moisturiser (paid 10p and got free wipes)
    • 4 bottles of long hair serum (got free intensive conditioner but discovered i hate the serum)
    • 5 ‘Elle’ travel minis in mini wash bag (some glitch I’m assuming,)
    • 2 x 5 pack rubbish pick razors (points glitch at boots??)
    • 3 boxes of hair lightener – no idea why
    • A box full of Boots products i have tested for them and not liked/used after the survey period
    Over Christmas i have gained
    • Over £100 worth of Lush goodies (sale and presents)
    • One S&G Hat box
    • One FCUK bag and toiletries,
    • One Sanctuary gift set (all above three Boots OOTW and presseis from me to me)
Add to this at least three of everything dotted around the bath room.

Not even going down the make up / perfume route....

    But i enjoy buying stuff........
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler
  • I don't think I could list all my mine. It's all over the house. I look forward to discovering forgotten treasures.

On the plus side I emptied a bottle of Dove body wash. I know it's small but it is a start.
    Put the kettle on. ;)

Good hand lotion shouldn't reallly be greasy, unless you put on twice too much. Someone gave me some really greasy from Next and I used it up (slowly, mainly at night before bed where I don't really need to handle anything), but there's no way I would buy it. Personally I find that Vaseline Intensive Care is good, and not greasy.

If it came to it, could you use the hand cream as an overnight treatment for your feet? Liberally lotion your feet then put socks on? Does a great job of softening those hard bits we don't want to think about (or can't quite reach after doing Quality Control on Xmas chocolate!)

short_bird, great tip! I must look out some old socks to do this with, as this is one of those tips I read but never try.

    Three small triumphs today:

I resisted (again!) ordering Sanctuary stuff half price online
I used some of my new S&G Flake Away in the shower and Mande Lular body souffle AND No7 anti-cellulite serum afterwards
I got one of the little Sanctuary body lotions out of my Christmas gift set and have been using it as a hand cream while watching TV

    Yay!!!!!!!!!!
