I've only bought 2 anti perspirants since the 1st, so that's good - but I can't seem to finish much product at all. Yesterday I used up an Optrex eye mask sachet that's been hanging around for the past 3 years - it must have been full of preservatives, it wasn't dried out at all! :rotfl:

Depends on what you want from a mascara - length/volume/dramatic spidery lashes? My favourite mascara (trust me when I say I've tried them all!) is Max factor false lash effect but I got it for £7 when it was on offer at Superdrug, now it's around £11 :o I like my eyelashes to be very noticeable though.

If you want cheap but fairly good, 2True (you get it at Superdrug) does a mascara. I think it's £1.95 - or was when I bought it, and it's fairly good for the price. I carry it in my handbag as a spare.

I want dramatic - is for going out and because I am ginger my eyelashes are barely noticable... have tried loads of different ones before but they have only been alright, have never had loyalty hehe. had heard a lott of good bout the max factor one so may grab some ttomorrow morning
  • Well done, Babafette! :T I don't think I'd be able to go into Wilkinsons and avoid the toiletries. ;)

I haven't time to read anything till later, but have a confession to make. I was in Boots and bought a Bourjois Doctor Glamour lipstick from the clearance shelf. It was £3 (reduced from about £10) and I paid with points, it has just cheered me up so much!! I am sad.

    SORRY :o

On a positive note, the clearance shelves were PACKED with goodies and I resisted everything else, even the Skin Doctors stuff which was 70% off! I love their Relaxaderm serum, anyone tried it? I got it on clearance for £15 before Christmas, RRP is almost £50 I think! I'm dreading the day when it runs out!

I keep dreaming about the No7 Ultimate Collection which may be in the 75% off sale - whenever it happens (my local branch of Boots has about 50 or so left)... I am not sure why I want it so much, I have more than enough make up to last for about 5 years and quite a bit of skin care (not night creme though as I am almost out), if it does go to 75% off it just seems too much of a bargain to resist. I keep saying to myself that I could give my Mum some of the stuff from it, but also keep forgetting that I have already sent her loads of No 7 stuff from the 50% off sale for her birthday.... Heeeeeellllllllp!!!!

One thing I did buy yesterday that I had never heard of before this board was Stardrops and my kitchen is sparkling now... So thanks for that, such a bargain!!!
I'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!

Went into Boots today and spent sometime sniffing their £7.50 body butters. Weren't that great and left with only dental floss. Next M&S, looked at the 3 for 2 body butters and thought 'No'.:j Did get a Luxury Christmas cake reduced to £1.99:j

I was reminiscing about the times I went into Lush and spent £40 on body lotions and shower gels.:eek:. Those days are over.:T
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

Just posted this in the Boots thread, am very proud of the last bit:

I went in to pick up my 50% sale order. Very happy with it... lots of S&G goodies (goodness, the Shower House box is bigger than I remember, and the Plane Jane bag is GORGEOUS), a Frontcover Inky Eyes set for £6 (wish I'd ordered 3!) and a couple of Celia Birtwell things.

Note to anyone lurking from the 'no more toiletries' thread - these purchases were made on Christmas Eve and cannot be counted against me for the purposes of the challenge!!!! I even returned half of what I ordered for a refund as I realised I didn't really want it and my gift stash is big enough already, so go me. £30 richer too, oh I like this challenge

Extra note: I did not return any S&G, I'm not totally cured yet. :rotfl:

  • Used up bottle of shampoo and bottle of liquid soap used, so now using up stock again. Needed dental floss but avoided Boots and went to Savers.
