Does it count if you don't pay for it? Temptation too great today got 2 Dove deodrants for £1 each and used the £2.79 bogof moc in Tesco so got them free and 79p off rest of shop.
Must try harder - still find it hard to resist a freebie!0 -

Acquiring toiletries without paying for them (shoplifting apart...) is to be highly commended on this thread surely!0 -

Maybe you should go to bed
Have just finished off what I thought was the last of a Boots sample size Hand Revitalising Saviour. Good product, thought it was empty til I cut it open and found a load of the gritty stuff still inside, so a bit more left for tomorrow.
All my 'average' shower stuff has gone and am interspersing using my nice stuff with using nice soap and a puff! Must say the puff makes loads of suds....could quite easily use this for everyday in future, stop buying day-to-day shower wash myself and rely on get getting nice shower stuff as pressies.
Have decided to use my mini Clinique eye cream freebie gift on my hands. Shouldn't have stuck my finger in it when I first got it, (Why do we have to do that with new stuff??????????????) or I could have ebayed it. I prob should use eye cream, but it never makes much diff to me. Keeping off the wine and drinking loads of water works better! It's been knocking round for a while, time for it to go I think.
Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector and the cotton gloves on tonight as hands need some heavy duty attention, despite regular creaming this week. Now this is a product I don't want to waste!
DD came back from her night away with some mini toiletries from the hotel room. I have spirited them away, she'll never notice and will stick them on ebay. Even if they only fetch 99p that's a 'free' tube of toothpaste!
I'm happy to pay for the things I want and that tends to be service rather than lots of products. I am very careful with the amount and choice of products I buy and in their use. The stash I had originally last year was mainly from pressies and general unused stuff, rather than reckless buying.
However I do have my hair coloured at the hairdressers monthly ( because I feel I get better, more natural looking results and I can't manage to 'just ' do the roots all over myself), my eyebrows waxed and tinted (can't see to do them properly myself any more!) and a pedicure, facial or massage ( partly maintenance, partly relaxation and enjoyment) every now and again. I work hard and feel at my age(!), I've earned the pampering!
I don't know whether that's inconsistent with the concept of the thread or not really!0 -
Well since I was last on here I have managed to use up an awful lot of stuff! One tub of moisturiser gone. One toothpaste gone. Multiple bath bits gone (DH was not impressed when I dumped a load of lavender and white lilly bath flakes in his bath the other night!). We're nearing the end of a shampoo and a conditioner. DD's hair is looking good and mine's feeling better. Her hair was soooo knotted from playing out in the snow and from the central heating that I dumped loads of conditioner on it the other night. It's worked wonders.
I too painted my toenails the other night and they're due another painting soon.
We've used a couple of bottles of things and are 1/2 way through another moisturiser.
I got struck by an awful cold 1/2 way through my night shift last Weds and then had to walk home in the blizzard as my wipers snapped off the car. My face was red raw and had awful peely flaky skin around my nose and all the way down to my top lip. It didn't occur to me until this evening that it has healed and that's because I keep using hand cream and then wiping it all over my face.
I can feel that my skin is softer and I look better (IMHO!). I've also used up a sachet of moisturiser. Yay me!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
InaPickle I use Elizabeth Arden 8 hr as that is really good for my combination skin and I don't "dry" out at the end of the day. Otherwise on a "spend less" month I use the E45 as this suprisingly is not greasy, well not for me anyway. Or the 3rd thing I have used is the Calendua baby skin protector, John Lewis and Waitrose sell it for around £4 and I read it a while back that it is good for sensitive skin being a baby product and that works too. All work under foundation and dry in the time it takes me to get out foundation and slap that on.0

Toenails are now Chanel Rouge Noir.
@Bronnie - could you imagine us all in court? Our defense was we were being MSE so had to shoplift. Somehow I don't think we'd get away with it!0 -
