  • Just wanted to pop on and say great makes everyone... I`m not beading at the moment... due to my new hobbies of all day laundry and feeding! Hehe.
The bead draw will probs remain closed for a long time as I`m worried about any escaping and Thomas finding them!

Thanks Crafty - all the followere and lovely comments do give me such a boost and encourage me to get of my backside and make something else! Thanks for the link to my giveaway, I will add you twice x I love the stuff you do too, wouldn't it be nice to turn a living from sitting making lovely bits all day? *dreams*
Poppy - I am amazed you are still making stuff with that little beauty to stare at all day! Your new pink box is beautiful and the little booties inside are so cute! Hope you are keeping well.

Hello, could I have some advice please. My daughter broke a stretchy bracelet she had & as it's a nice monsoon one I'd like to restring it but what do you call the stretchy cord elastic stuff? I'd need quite a strong one, the one that broke looked like a nylon type stuff. Also where would be the best place to get some?
I've gotten a few different bit's and pieces from the Fruit Pixiethey do have some jewellery findings so someone might find them useful .
    Thanks in advance Vi xx
    Booo!!!

I would use stretch magic - I buy mine from Jillybeads , for this job I would use 1mm but if you get 0.7mm (5m for £1.70 plus postage only 70p!)you will find more uses for it as you can string beads straight onto it, 1mm is quite thick for beading. They will both be very strong. Once you have tied it (and do a couple of strong knots) dab a bit of glue on the knot to seal it, I would use hypo cement but any superglue type stuff will do.

  • Kandipandi - That is my dream, one day to make enough living out of what I make....one day...but for now I'll keep my part-time job as a checkout girl! :)

Susan42 - Thankyou :) I got the charms from my NEC trip in march, so not sure where I got them from...I'm running low so I'm now starting to look around for more, I find ebay has a good selection :)

crafty - I bought loads of lovely stuff at a craft fair at Newcastle in February and I am running out of stuff now and cant remember who I bought it from, I must be better at keeping track of things I buy and use!
