Ive also spent an absolute fortune yesterday from Sanctuary beads and myvintagecharms .
I can so relate to that, but have just been beaten hands down by my other half, last Saturday I received a huge parcel that I wasn't expecting, it was a jewellery designer's entire collection of beads and findings, I had noticed it on a forum and had a look at the litsing on Ebay, and casually mentioned it. Later that day, it had gone on a BIN for £300, so I fogrot all about it.
Till the lot turned up last week  :j I couldn't believe that he had bought it for me, such a sweetie, so have spent all week sorting through it, counting etc so that it can go into my inventory, (I have valued it at around £800) just gotta start selling some stuff now!
Still, I have a 2 day event in a fortnight, and I am the only crafter, never mind the only jeweller there, so hopefully that should pull in some rocking sales!0 -
Oh wow Jo you lucky thing. You must have been like a kid in a sweet shop sorting through all that.
tattooed - i think the price is fine, perhaps even too cheap for sterling. Don't lurk, keep posting.
I have been making with buttons and adding it all to my website this afternoon. I really need to work on my pictures though, can't get them bright enough that I am happy with the standard.0 -
Tattooed - I agree with Yukki!
Jo_F - does your OH have a brother? :rotfl: - lucky you.You can stand there and agonize........

Hi, love your bracelet :T dont go back into lurkdom please, the more the merrier here. I also think £15 is fine. You have to make sure you cover your costs, time a nd a little extra for any overheads.
My teapots and dolls house stuff are made out of Fimo (polymer clay):santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Wow Jo you have a wonderful OH.
Yukki I keep having a look at your stuff on facebook as it comes up, I love your owl tags.
I went through 3 different cameras (OH, my mums etc) until I found one that took good photos. I take mine in Macro mode as they are so small. Turns out our Toshiba HD video camera takes great still shots and it has a brill light on it. My stuff has sold so much better with decent pics. Now they are so clear though you can see fingerprints or any flaws lol.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Just back from my class at Bedazzle. Today's project was a 30's inspired necklace made on 3 strands of tigertail. My first attempt was a disaster, but Lisa was very patient and I restrung it, with a result I was happy with. It's approx 22" long. Apols for the blurry picture.
I made this for a friend who wears vintage clothes. Her favourite colours are red and black. I think it will be a nice surprise for her, as she is going through a bad time with a very poorly Dad just now.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
