Well done Hogshead and Daughter and congrats on your first sale Crafty JuJu - I'm excited for you (and a little bit envious :o). I can't wait to make something that's good enough to sell :j

So here is the Freeform bracelet I've been working on all week. This is it's fifth (?) re-incarnation and it's not really what I was aiming for, but I've learnt loads from my mistakes and the next one will be what I want, fingers crossed. Tbh, it was a bit of a chore towards the end and I was glad to get it over with.

Also, thanks again to sparklygirl, the clasp is the only thing I really like on here and it's from the tutorial she found.

And two little bracelets I made last night when I'd finished the above, just for a bit of light relief:

I'm going to add a charm to the end of this memory wire, forgot to do it last night.

The fastening on the Daisy Chain bracelet is really hard to open, can anyone recommend a decent but still reasonably priced source for these? This one was very cheap and a bit of a false economy.

Any constructive criticism gratefully received :)
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

Thistledome, lovely makes, really like the daisychain. The lobster clasps I use are usually the cheap ones from Totally beads £1 for 10 and I've not had any problem with them at all. Hovwever my friend bought the same ones as me and had to throw away 3 as the springs had gone.
Its hit and miss I guess. If you buy some and several fail, I would return them.

I have fancied making a seed bead bracelet but I'm not brave enough to go 'freeform' i will have to follow a pattern. I liked the idea of those rings on that link so I might attempt them first.

.... currently getting to grips with wrapped loops, must persevere....

Hogshead - Your card is gorgeous & I love the bracelet your daughter has made....gorgeous colours :T Its so sweet to know you gave her my page for inspiration....thankyou :D I'm still learning myself so this is a big boost to know...Thankyou :j
I have been using seed beads, glass pearls & cube shaped beads mainly, I want to use others but I need to save some money first :D Sorry I can't be of much help with this, I'm still getting my head around the sizes of beads & names when I'm ordering! Its really bad, I'm like a kid in a sweet shop when I go on ebay, I just keep putting 1 thing after another in my basket....I've told myself I'm not allowed to look for at least a week.....well I can try :A

I sold my 1st bracelet on Folksy today :j it was pink with a Hello Kitty charm on it :j & I'm making some children size ones for a friend at work, so far I've made 2 & she was over the moon with them :D I'll post some pics on my blog soon, I'll let you know when I have :)

Hope you've all had a lovely sunny day xx

Well done a the sale, may it be the first of many :T.
Re type of beads & size thanks for the pointers. The turquoise ones were bigger than I'd imagined despite the size guide, I just didn't really think & plumbed for colour & shape, something to bear in mind for future purchases. The glass pearls are what I need to buy in next & a few charms. I have been bitten by the bug.

Do any of you have links to fave bead sellers on your blogs or is there a sticky on here anywhere?

Oh & taking a decent photo is a bit tricky too. need to read up on the macro option on my camera.

    So many ?'s sorry.
