i found a good site that has some very nice free beading tutorials if anyones interested.

    http://www.rubysbeadwork.com/Thumbnails.html

ps: Thistledome - theres some peyote tutorials on there at the bottom that may help and inspire you :)

Those tutorials are great thanks for the link!

I started a blog yesterday and plan to put all of my makes and ideas on there, I am planning to use it as a bit of a stick to beat myself with as I often start loads of things then get distracted, a bit like a magpie, on to the next shiny thing!

I will try to keep it updated, feel free to have a look its in my links.

:T Thank you so much, there's one that's just what I need to finish off my bracelet. I've been trying to find a seed bead clasp tutorial for days (well, one that I can understand :o) and this one's just the job! You're an :A

Here is a pic of the memory wire bracelet my daugheter made for her friend. Considering it was her first attempt I am really please with it as is she. I left Crafty Ju Ju's page open for her to gain inspiration, thanks.

The card I can claim recognition for but I am so pleased on her bracelet. I know that these will become regular gifts & so much cheaper than buying something in, especially for teenagers.
I really need to get better beads though.

Crafty Ju Ju can you give me a rekkie of the beads you generally use as your style got me on this slippery slope.

Those wire cutters were very useful as the wire is mighty tough, thanks again LJM.

Beautiful bracelet :T goes so well with the card too.
I'm sorely tempted to have a go............but must master the art of the button bracelet first......neighbours daughter liked the last one I'd done so thats a good sign -just have to sort out the fastening.........she suggested making a button hole in the tape............worth a thought
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hogshead - Your card is gorgeous & I love the bracelet your daughter has made....gorgeous colours :T Its so sweet to know you gave her my page for inspiration....thankyou :D I'm still learning myself so this is a big boost to know...Thankyou :j
I have been using seed beads, glass pearls & cube shaped beads mainly, I want to use others but I need to save some money first :D Sorry I can't be of much help with this, I'm still getting my head around the sizes of beads & names when I'm ordering! Its really bad, I'm like a kid in a sweet shop when I go on ebay, I just keep putting 1 thing after another in my basket....I've told myself I'm not allowed to look for at least a week.....well I can try :A

I sold my 1st bracelet on Folksy today :j it was pink with a Hello Kitty charm on it :j & I'm making some children size ones for a friend at work, so far I've made 2 & she was over the moon with them :D I'll post some pics on my blog soon, I'll let you know when I have :)

Hope you've all had a lovely sunny day xx
