I do too, they are fab and would be a great talking point!
Princess - Rosarama Beadcraft is a shop near to where I work so I have only ever bought off her in person. She is lovely though and dead helpful - she taught me to do wrapped loops!
I did a workshop with her Mum at the local craft fair last month and she was great too. So I don't know how she is online, but the business consists of her and her mum only as far as I can see.You can stand there and agonize........

Tracy, those brooches are lovely, can I just make a little suggestion?
The ends of your black wire, you can see the copper under the coating, when that happens to me, I dab a little bit of black permanent marker over the exposed bit of wire, if you do it with a fine point pen, then you don't risk getting any on the beads.
Thanks for the tip, really works well & makes them look much neater:T
Thanks everyone for the comments about the fimo bracelets, feel much more confident about them now
nic2075...think i'm a bit old to wear them myself but hopefully my daughter will!!!!2012 wins: American Anthem tickets, Illamasqua lipstick & mascara, Wireless tickets, Bakin boys cupcakes, Hotel Chocolat, Trip to LA & £500 spending money, cinema tickets, goodwood tickets, cocktail night at waldorf hotel, parmesan, Flip goody bag & case Relentless drink, Coke T-shirt, Gaymers cider, Bruce Lee T-shirt, DVD & poster:j0 -
Hi everyone,
I found this thread last night and have spent ages looking through it :T I'm amazed at the beautiful jewellry you've all been making and it's inspired me to make myself a memory wire bracelet. I usually just string a few beads together on a bit of elastic and I always see lovely bracelets when I'm out shopping but think "I could make that" but never get round to it. So this time I'll give it a try and hopefully I'll have some nice colouful summery jewellry for the nice weather, if it turns up this year :rotfl:
Thanks again to everyone for the inspirationEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
Hi everyone
Kandipandi, that is such a beautiful set you have made again, not suprised that you are keeping it.
traceys9062- I love those bracelets, they are fantastic.
Anyway I have a quick question- apologies as it is a silly question but I have gor some more beads and some of that elastic stuff to thread it on ( can't remember real name) but my question is how do I tie it together?0 -

Hi LoLo,
I just had that prob with the elastic tread so I went into my fav bead shop in town and asked about it. The lady said to tie a knot then dab a small bit of super glue on it to stop it slipping, she told me to get the glue from Wilkinsons (their own make one) as it has a brush on the end so you can get it where you want the glue to be and not dripping down the tread.
Just wanted to add, on my bracelet I added a pink bead over the knot after the glue dried then dabbed a bit more glue to the end of the bead where the elastic came out the cut it tight to the bead. It looks ok as the glue is clear.
Hope this is a helpGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time and Love sewing
