I am so sorry for the poor pictures but I hope you get the idea. It's 3 separate pieces of memory wire all linked together by little bars. The top one has butterflies and purple bicones on, they look black!!

Just one question, how do I finish the ends off? I tried to curl them with round nose pliers but it ended up bent!

  • Great bracelets! Purple and butterflies is a fab combination.

Erm the only way really to finish the ends off is to create a loop using round nosed pliers. Have you tried placing the pliers close to the end of your wire make a half turn then reposition the pliers and close the loop.

    Hi all.

I am loving the fab pieces of jewellery that everyone is making. I have made a start on my first creations, I am making or hoping to make a necklace and earrings for my mum for mothers day and I have almost done a pandora style bracelet but think it needs some more beads on. I will post a pic when I have done them. I have done the earrings and they are ok for my first attempt, not prefect but I think they look more or less the same.
  • Can`t wait to see you creations LoLo.

I`m just working on a few bracelets for my Folksy shop and am having lots of fun!

After trying to make my first few items, and not being overly sucessful... I have a new found respect for jewellery makers everywhere!!

By jove some of the pieces you all do really become so much more beautiful when you realise how much blimming work goes into them!!

Promise to share some pictures... once I make anything worth showing!!!
  • Hi, thanks for the replies on my first makes :)

I was just wondering where you all buy your necklace/bracelet chains? Do you make them from one long chain reel and cut them and add the clasp? or do you buy them already made?

and where from and how much?

    Thanks :) x
