Hope this works. My first makes. They are not brilliant but I am rather pleased with them as I have not made anything before. Also there is a pic of the memory wire bracelet my son made me for mother's day.

Sorry I couldn't work out how to add the photos so added a link to the photos. Hope it works. x

There lovely LoLo , my fav is the one in the middle, but they are all very good.

Oh and the kids are going out later so I will have peace to try and make more beads. I really need to practice.
I find it hard to know what is good or not. Its not easy to be confident in something youve made.
My oh is very supportive but he says everything is good. My best critic is my 4 year old, she is the only one who tells me the truth .

Kandipandi - the cupcake/donut charm you said you like, my 4 year old dd actually made that. I wasnt taking credit for it as I made some too but I put up the wrong pic. I have changed the heading to say she made it but my blog badge is covering half of it. Does anyone know how to make it go over to the left where most peoples are?

She had great fun doing it. She wants to made more food for her dolls house.

After trying to make my first few items, and not being overly sucessful... I have a new found respect for jewellery makers everywhere!!

Me too. It looks so easy when you watch a video of someone doing it.:o You're not alone, my attempts are pretty carpy - I keep telling hubby I'm just practicing when he laughs at my efforts.

By jove some of the pieces you all do really become so much more beautiful when you realise how much blimming work goes into them!!

Agree. I tried to make a beaded charm bracelet last night and although I thought I'd put a lot of beads on, it had nowhere near enough. It looked quite bald compared to Princesspoppypop's lush creations!

I'm also having trouble making consistent loops. I've watched 2 different videos now and although it seems simple when they do it, I just can't seem to get the hang of it. They're often mis-shapen and at mad angles. My cheapo headpins don't help, after I've attempted to make a loop about 3 or 4 times all the SP flakes off!:rotfl:

Also, I realised that I've put some pearls on "upside down", i.e. they are attached to the wrong side of the chain link IYSWIM. Doh.

Definitely harder than it looks. Kudos to all the jewellery makers on here who sell their work :T

PS lovely 1st makes Lolo - well done!

Well I have been making bits for a week now, and have only just managed to take some half decent photos of them. Some of the pics are a bit blurry so please excuse me for that:

Those are stunning Kandipandi. I especially love the memory wire bracelet with matching earrings and the green earrings below that picture.

Lovely work kandipandi! My favourites are the first 4 pics, but all are very pretty indeed.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Just a quick word of warning I have gotten a nasty virus today from Photobucket, if you are in photobucket and your PC appears to run a virus scan, its not real, dont click anything, I did..... my poor DH has to rebuild the PC and work will have to rebuild my poor laptop tomorrow
eta. it is not a virus but malware, managed to remove it.
