Jo_F - I love those my favourite is the shell one, very pretty and reminds me of ice cream (not sure why!?).
Do you create a photoshoot (type of thing) to photograph your jewellery?
I tried taking a photo of mine the other day and they were all naff. Whats the best way to get detailed photos of your creations? You can stand there and agonize........

When I take photos of my jewellery, I use the front room windowsill.......it's bathed in natural light (usually).
I have a 10mp camera...I use the macro focus ( it has a pic of a flower on the button)......I use a pale blue beading mat as a background.
I just get in really close and take loads of piccies from different angles til the lighting and focus are just right.
I don't use the flash cause it doesn't show the coloured beads to their best.Slimming world new starter 2/1/17:D:DWeight loss so far 5 stone 8 lbs

I take my pictures in exactly the same way!0 -
I used to use my point and click camera, on macro, with a sheet of white paper and a daylight lamp shining on the piece, then do a lot of editing in photoshop.
I have just bought a light tent (as my camera died) and so now I use that with a light on either side, and I am getting used to my other half's hightly expensive Nikkon (that camera scares the crao outta me, probably cos he spent so much on it and lenses)
I use the white backdrop in the tent, and when done, the only editing is cropping, making the pic the right size and then lightening the back ground a little rather than hours messing about.0 -
Hi,
I am hoping for some inspiration really. I have a spool of 24 guage sliver plated wire.
I ordered it my misstake:eek:..its much thinner than I was expecting it to be.
Any ideas how I can use it.....I have a (very:rotfl:) large selection of glass, crystal and seed beads to add to it.
I know you more experienced jewellery makers are bound to have some ideas.:)
Thank youSlimming world new starter 2/1/17:D:DWeight loss so far 5 stone 8 lbs

Thank you
I'm not yet a jewellery maker, so I won't even pretend to have some great ideas for you...
However, I have just come accross this site http://www.allcrafts.net/jewelry.htm which seems to have some good ideas on it.
Maybe something on here for you?
