I just wanted to pop in and say a big thank you for all your advice and inspiration, I've made some earrings, a bracelet and a memory wire bracelet and I've now got the making bug!

There will also be a handmade card table and a homemade soap stall.
I need to get some more stock made as I sold £30 worth of stock to my mates this morning.:)

My grandson is almost 4 and his mummy is a single parent so I sort out her Mothers Day gift from him. Now he is a little older I plan to take him shopping for beads, his choice encouraged on by me. Then together we will make a memory wire bracelt in a random pattern. I can't do it until a few days before as he will tell all. They live with us so I can slot it in at the last minute on the evening before.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Just seeing this thread and have subscribed and am slowly working my way through all the posts.
I started making jewellery last year and made my weding jewellery and jewellery for my bridesmaids...
It was pretty simple stuff, but I;d like to expland plus i came a bit addicted to buying nice looking beads etc!
Poppy - just wanted to say.. I love your bracelets!
I just had a quick look at your site, and I see recently you have been using the same style of link bracelets as a started for making them all.. can I ask where you got these from and what they would be called (for googling purposes)? They look fab! Or did you make them from other pieces.../
I have 5 of those hooky style ends to clip the bracelet together on your wrist but like the actual ring style braclety thing.. i hope what Ive written makes sense but wasnt sure how else to explain myself!!
Not sure if this image worked so also posting direct link - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_umIYFa_oJjM/S1mHZOxz9jI/AAAAAAAAAQo/GFH2fFadse0/s1600-h/008.JPGprincesspoppypop wrote: »I made Memory Wire and Pandora style bracelets at Christmas.
More on my blog here.
I like PJ Beads and Jilly Beads for supplies. Both are fast and have great customer service.

Hi, to create a bracelet base you will need some chain, split rings and toggle fastening so you can make these to different lengths depending on the wrist size of the wearer. Try Jilly Beads for the findings and chain.
Would love to see what you make.

No worries! I have just recieved a delivery of some beautiful dark cream, gold and chocolate brown pearls, I`ll set to work on the bracelet and earrings tonight.
As I`m hoping to make a go of my little jewellery business I`m looking into getting some bits personalised such as earring cards, business cards and packaging. Ive also been talking to SIL regarding all the boring stuff such as tax as she works for the inland revenue zzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz hehe!

Thanks Kelda, I`ll pop on and have a look x
edit: greenpixey uses these and they are fab and a lot nicer than a boring business card!
Must design my packaging... I have one or two ideas in mind.

I love making jewellery, I find it relaxing. I'm not set up as a business, I make it mostly for presents for female friends and I make things on order for people I work with, I charge enough to cover my costs and fund my hobby but that's it.
Here are some things I have made lately...0
