    Morning!
Mercers just called my DD....she passed them to me before clearing security questions.

He was so 'shocked' by me giving him both barrels about ringing on Boxing Day he started to try and discuss the Account!!!

...and they are only supposed to contact by letter. Happy Xmas to me!

Hope you have all had a great time. xxx

Jesus Pepe, I can't believe they rang on boxing day! Although I think it was Mercers that rang me on xmas eve a few years ago. Glad you had fun with them though, have you written your complaint about them yet?!

Well done Becky - you have my total admiration, not only to do a run today and to win it but to do it with a hangover as well!

Another route which is undersubscribed as we are always desperate at our college is learning support, this is helping adults (16+) with numeracy and literacy in the classroom, this often leads onto further training in British sign language, dyslexia awareness etc, etc. Downside it the starting wage (not much more than min wage) but it does get higher with further training...........just a thought Bunny.

blimey......ours don't get paid for this role! However it means you can do the Adult Learning Support qual paid for if you commit to be a voluntary tutor for a year.

Hi all. Eaten all the Galaxy Ripples :o and most of the chocolate covered mango strips :o, thinking what to move onto next :D

Bun - doing something like the NCFE Level 2 TA course is a good place to start. Most jobs now look for the person to have this as minimum so it would really help and you'd sail through a level 2 qual.

I forgot I still had my £25 hot diamonds code from subscribing to Glamour for 6 months (god what a load of piffle that is!) and they have a sale on, so have treated myself to a pair of earrings and only had £6.50 to pay and then get 12% back through quidco.:T

right guys, we're off to visit the outlaws today. They'll think I'm preggers again cos I have no intention of drinking (hair of the dog sounds good but I don't want to wake up tomorrow with another dodgy head!

Hope everyone has a great boxing day.

  • Ames - I have wanted a dangly pair for ages, but wanted something a bit different and they called to me :D

I think so Gemmzie. It was subscribe to Glamour for £1 per issue for 6 months and they send a £25 voucher. At the time there were other codes to give you £50 worth of discount, but by the time I got my Glamour voucher they'd sussed and cancelled all the extra codes. I nearly threw the voucher away to be honest but thought I'd just check it out for a sale and thought the earrings were nice - I must buy a pair of studs though as I haven't worn any since I lost one in September when I was out one night and don't have any others. My piercings heal very fast so I might already be too late.

Here's the sale page for anyone else with the voucher still
