Is it conjunctivitus? Do you have out of hours Dr that could write a prescription?

Got my mum, nan brother and his girlfriend coming over today which will be lovely.

As nice a day as I had yesterday, next Christmas is going to be different, in many ways!

I've just checked and m&s aren't open till tomorrow, so not going out today! I don't usually brave m&s, I'm scared of all the little old ladies who are viscous! Ex used to tell me that I had a stick and I should use it, but they've got them too and they're older and so have had more practice with them. And I swear they have steel toe capped court shoes for the sales! I need a hat for Venice though and M&S have some nice ones in the sale.

So instead I'm queueing for the Next online sale, although apparantly it's rubbish.

    Congratulations k.bagpuss!

Happy Boxing Day everyone, I feel bloated and yukky this morning but a trip down to the beach to see my crazy Mother do her Boxing day dip in the sea will blow away the cobwebs:eek:

Did anyone else have a white Christmas yesterday? We had snow fall around 6pm so officially a White Christmas for us:j

Happy boxing day everyone! I am off to the football with DS at lunchtime - always a good festive atmosphere, then back home to come up with yet more wonderful ideas for leftover turkey!

  • I'm not sure what it is sal-he's had a rotten cold and not sure if it's just not a cold in his eyes? (Can that happen?) He seems ok, they look betterish so I'm just going to keep bathing them in salty water. Bless him, not going out for us today me thinks.

Anyone else overwhelmed by the carnage in their houses? We've been tidying up as we go along to no avail-toys and stuff everywhere! Argh!
DH is in work today so going to stay in pj's pretty much all day and fester, lol.
