Wasn't it in a magazine ages ago? TV favourites or TV cross stitch? I'm sure I have the magazine, but I can't get to all my shelves right now. Not on the shelves I've checked, so probably right at the bottom. Can have a look tomorrow for you.

thanks ruth_honey but mummipig has saved the day!! It was in one of the TV ones - I must have every epsode other then that one.

Or if it's a recently bought kit you could call the company who made it and tell them you have ran out of a colour and ask if they would send some? On urging from ladies on here I done this for a DMC kit. I told the fella on the phone I had defo ran out of one colour and a couple others looked short so he took all my DMC numbers and sent me a skein of nearly every colour that came in the kit.

Framed up my parents 40th anniversery stitch last night - bought the frame off the shelf - was assured of right sizes - but got it home and found mount was wrong - need to mind take a tape measure always in future. Looks ok but not perfect.

    Kind wishes

Brilliant then i clicked check out, i need to spend a minimum of £7.

So i did the other suggestion too, have emailled bothy threads :)

    Thanks everyone for helping

I was making this for the parents for Christmas but have decided not this year, but then something caught my eye on here last night, or so i thought it did...

What i would dearly like to make for my parents and i know they would really love would be a cross stitch of a certain little creature that has his own advert and says 'simples' alot. did google but only see his wildlife cousins, not him in his smoking jacket... my parents are mad about him, and mum would love a cuddly toy of him, but the ones in the shop look a bit tattly, and there is no way i can afford over £100 for a real cuddly toy that got released last year and went to charity

How about adopting her a real Meerkat? I know London Zoo do it, so I'm sure the others do too. Usually includes a ticket to visit the zoo too. My Meerkat is called Pipsqueak & lives at London Zoo. She's very cute!
If not, it's not the famous Mr Orlov, but the Mouseloft 'Meery Xmas' http://www.mouseloft.co.uk/zoom1.htm?image=Products/zoom/zoom_4_E35stl.jpg?desc=Meery%20Christmas%21?part=004-E35stl?price=1.99?incart=0 is a fab little kit.
Johnson crafts also have some funny kits. http://www.johnsoncrafts.co.uk/shop/September.html

Just looked on Amazon & he has a book coming out at the end of Oct! A Simples Life: The Life and Times of Aleksandr Orlov.

My parents moved to France and the London Zoo thing wouldn't be any good, nice thought tho.
Just bought that book this morning :rotfl: Aledksandr is my friend on face book so i saw that and grabbed it.

The only thing i can think of and this could get pricey, OH noticed in Hobby craft at the weekend, paper to print on for cross stitch patters, so i was thinking perhaps i could do it that way, but i am rusty with cross stitch and am not sure if i could cope, had a shock when i found my bothy threads were plain and i had to work out where to start on the blank canvas.

Shelly nothing to be sorry about, i didn't realise it was minimum order until i went to check out with my one pack lol :rotfl::rotfl:
