that's fab news Shelly........... shame about the housework.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes for my Dad.
Big shame about the housework but my reward is getting back to stitching so it will spur me on! :D

Awesome2. No probs, glad I could help.

    jlp123. Very cute pic!

Craftygranny. Making very nice progress on the calendar. I Love projects like yours that seem like lots of small projects that make one large one in the end.

PP. Love the flower pot & veggie project but can't even begin to guess what your WIP is going to be :rotfl:

Sweetcarer. Golden earth is coming along nicely.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Well I have finished the bookmark I have made for my niece. I adapted a picture I found, then added notes and the lettering. I laminated it, backed with a piece of wrapping paper...the pink felt I had was too thick (guess how I found out? :o)

I put it into a card ....................... here is the back

    DSCF0218.JPG DSCF0217.JPG

I am really pleased with this...now off to work out what I am going to stitch for DH for Father's Day....possibly! :)

Actually, my mum's cousin is 70 next week....so may do something for him instead...something personal methinks made up as a coaster/key-ring/fridge-magnet....will decide what later.

So doing well with my target for the month: both quilt squares and the bookmark done....must get some of the Astronomer done too....not sure if I will get the second page done finished though!

Right off to bed soon, will post piccies of my next project, once I have made it!

    Night, night
