    Hi ladies,

Had some interest on our old thread, I've redirected them back to us. ETA, Hi Natc... glad you found us.

Baby is in nursery today so I'm just taking a break from the house work. Some more lovely work going on. My stocking is going quite well, although I think finishing the bottom half this month was a tad ambitious but I'll keep going and see how far I get.

I've hung the Humphrey's Corner on the wall in babys room and it looks lovely with the rest of the theme. Got another one to do after the
stocking and the birth sampler too. She might get them by Christmas if I really try hard.

I'm back to work 4 weeks today :( so I'll get even less done then than I manage now.

Anyway, back to my dusting. Catch you all later.

Welcome Penelope Penguin. Make yourself a cuppa and pull up a chair.

Most of the stuff I'm doing at the moment is for my little DD. Have a wander back through the last:eek: 175:eek: pages (well maybe a quick skim, god we can chat) and see the lovely work people have been doing.

And obviously we would love to see some of your work too, we're quite a nosey bunch really.

    Hi everyone!

Im looking to do a congratulations card for OHs sister, she is having a baby soona dn would like to do something like this as card for her. I think its a bit expensive to buy to just do a card, does anyone know where i can get cheaper charts from? Im looking for one like this one but it doesnt have to be the same, just something with a simple motif and where i can put babys name, date of birth and weight etc. Ive seen one with some pink footprints and a place to out these details but i cant find it now!

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hi Natc,

give me a few hours for a rummage, I'm pretty sure I've got a couple of baby charts from when my neices and nephews were babies. I'll post pics and if you like them I can help (if you know what I mean ;);)).

The price for that kit you showed us is extortionate, I hate being conned

Thank you all for the welcome  I've been known to be "overly chatty" so should fit in well :rotfl:

Off to photograph my WIP and recent piece :)

I love the pieces in this thread :T Are they from kits or from charts? If they're charts, do you know where I can lay my hands on them, please?

Hi harley1, glad you found the resurrected thread :j

Im into all sorts at the moment, knitting, sewing (clothes and home furnishings), cross stitching! Not enough time - my full time job is getting in the way!!!!

Knitted a baby hat for my unborn niece, in the middle of knitting a cardigan now, and wanna get stuck into a cross stitch card for when shes here. :)

Thanks ERICS MUM, much appreciated. I think that the price of the charts are expensive, especially as im probably on goin to use it once. And it does feel like htey are conning us!

    Hi Penelope penguin,

That link is to our little project! Most of the girlies on this thread are taking part and hopefully MSE are going to auction the finished quilt for charity. I for one am very very proud of it :T, I think all the squares so far look amazing.

The alphabet chart was in the world of cross stitch magazine (no idea what issue though sorry!) and it was circulated to everyone taking part. I think chickywiggle had the original copy, I know she mentioned on that thread that is anyone needed it to PM her. Perhaps she could ;);) you a copy? I had it on my PC last week but now I've finished I've deleted it. I only printed out my letter U, so I don't even have a copy I can scan either. Sorry!
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:
