I've done more than I thought, so it was good to see the progress. I'm still working on this one for June, when I get a chance, most of my weekends are booked at the moment. :o

Just a quick question please my dd has started doing cross stitch and wants to order a kit from the above does anyone know how much postage is?

    Thanks
    :T

Hiah, I ordered from Black Sheep in April and postage was £2.50, not free I'm afraid (I checked back on my order confirmation email). Quite surprised actually I usually don't like paying postage, it must have been something I really wanted at the time LOL.

    Sorry!

Hi Mrs Toast and welcome. I'm looking forward to seeing your piccies.
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

Oooops! Sorry for giving you wrong info, awesome2. It's obviously been a while since I last ordered then. I know a few years ago postage was free with no minimum because I used to order kits that were dirt cheap on a regular basis. And that's why I now have waaaaay too many kits in my stash. Think I might have a clear out as Ebay has a free listing day on Sunday. :(

Kezzy - that's a whole lot of progress!

Mrs Toast - glad you found your way here from the sewing room :) - sometimes i feel like a fairytale character leaving a trail of breadcrumbs around MSE-Land, all leading back here!

oooh, i really hope my quilt square comes today or tomorow. my other half is away this weekend and although a friend needs some love and support i'd like to get some stitching done too.

    Morning all

Not much stitching done in last 2 days as I have been to allotment, potted up some things on my patio and cleared Mount Ironmore, which took 3 episodes of Lost to do:eek: Needless to say I have now created more!

I have virtually done all the backstitching on my fairy and then depressed myself by counting the French knots I have left to do 290:eek::eek: This is on a small kit which prob only measures 15 x 10 cm! Quite ridiculous if you ask me. Anymore want a copy of the DMC Lavender fairy chart?:rotfl:
    No, didn't think so!

dorastar i haven't done any school work either yet. Am out with my family today so may have to do some tonight (or leave it until Sunday!)

Love the heart design and the flowers Well done !

    Hi ladies.

Hope you are all well and enjoying the nice weather!

My posts are a bit sporadic at the mo, problems with losing broadband twice this week so if I disappear for a while it's because we are in the process of changing ISP and I'll be back as soon as I can.....hopefully now it's back on for the second time this week it will stay on.

    Anyway.....

Firstly, welcome to all newbies :j

MountainAsh. Loving the Zebra, very striking!

Dorastar. I do the same as Louise, I copy/paste the IMGcode after I have resized the image. I have deleted all other options so I don't get confused :rotfl:

Kezbabybabe. Lovely progress, a very pretty design you are doing.

Louise. Looking forward to seeing the completed Afghan!

Actually got some stitching done this week, not as much as usual as hubby is home on holiday but we have only been out a couple of days so snatched some stitching time as and when I could :D
