 Hi Bubbles, great to see you back. Of course you are valued on here, we all missed you. Good on you for going back on the other thread and standing up for yourself!

It's made me realise how much I love this Cafe and the quilt idea threads, you girls are fab. I don't think I will be venturing off here if thats what life on the outside is like

Have a dodgy hug everyone :grouphug:
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

    4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you...
    14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
    15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list.
AND NOW U R LAUGHING AT YOURSELF
    Kind wishes

Guilty, guilty, guilty... :o It's very common to email all the team members at my office.

I wasn't in the mood to stitch at all last night. I think the quilt thing got me a little bit down last night. :( Though I'm sure we'll straighten it out soon.

Bubbles: You're back! :grouphug: I think I promised Tea/coffee and cake, so here they are:
:coffee: & :bdaycake: (gotta love the size of that cake!)

Feel we have all been a bit stressed lately (with organising the big quilt and the nasties coming in). SO here is a wee funny for you all.

U KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2010 when...
    8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

    10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.

    12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

    13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

    Hi everyone

Thanks so much for all your encouraging posts and pms, I seriously hadnt realised how valued I was on here and it meant a lot. Yesterday I felt pretty down about it all, especially that someone followed me into here (I have now posted a reply to them on the pet forum where it belongs) and spent pretty much all day sleeping, i even felt too down to stitch but I cant let people ruin something I enjoy, I have lost too much of my life and not willing to lose this too.

bubbles wellcome back:j:j:j:jso good to see you and well done you for standing up for yourself, *massive hugs*

right i better go back outside and tidy up the garden abit, CPN this morning says i must try to get out more (would rather just stitch LOL) any way i have a shed of piggys to tidy have two new boys coming via piggy train from North Yorkshire and they get to me on Sat im so excited , sad i know :o:D
  • Hi folks,

Louise I cant believe how quick you have stitched this! Your daughter is so pretty, did she put purple on intentionally?!! I think the colours look much better than expected and much better than some of the other dud ones that people have found on here.

LOL actually that was a coinidence, I must have had purple on the brain when I went into her wardrobe that morning :rotfl:

I am going to get a silver frame made for it and as soon as I persuade hubby to redecorate the hall *nudges hubby* I am going to have my pictures hung up on the staircase.

Glad to see you back and posting again Bubbles xxxxx

Oh...have picked up the afghan this morning so making a start on the May challenge. Off to make a cuppa and watch Jeremy Kyle (gotta love abit of chav-watching) while I sew :D :rotfl:

  • Evening folks,

As promised earlier, here is a photo of my finished pheasant. He still needs washing and pressing, and I now need to find a suitable frame for him, but he is finished before the end of the April challenge. :j

    Pheasant-28April2010.jpg

Now I can go and read the quilt thread properly and see what you've all come up with in the way of ideas.

Sweetcarer - apologies for not coming back to you before now, but thanks so much for the advice on how to get my zebra back into a fit state for stitching. I shall take some time this weekend to sort out the pheasant to get him ready for framing, the zebra to get him fit for stitching, and the fabric for my John Clayton fuschias pressed, hemmed and marked up ready to start.

Right, I'm tired and hungry so am going to go lurk on the quilt thread until my tea's ready.

    Big Zen hugs to everyone.
