    Wow shelly, that is beautiful

I have seen pictures of that design on many a website, but their photos don't do justice to how delicate it looks when stitched or the amount of work in it.

I wouldn't mind them if they're still available - only live in St Helens just down the road from Liverpool, so could definitely use them.

Dorastar they are yours - just pm me your address and enjoy it!

Thanks! I must admit I am really enjoying stitching it. I *might* even do it again in the future for myself :D

I use an 'elbesee easy clip rotating tapestry frame'. I got it from here as that was the best price at the time http://www.sewandso.co.uk/ran997-0.html
I actually have 2 of them because the first one I bought was too square for me to use it comfortably so bought a taller one which is better. Now I have 2 though I can mix & match them to get the size I want.

Hopefully have PM'd you Bubbles - am soooo over excited about it!

Have put my current sewing project in my mother's day new bag and took it with me in the car today - have decided that since it relaxes me and helps me unwind, if I take it everywhere I go then I should start finding snippets of time to carry on with it. Found myself with a spare bit of time between work and going on a course this afternon so git a few more stitches done and should finish tortoise tonight - dh is now madly searching for camera lead so I can show everyone. Then got to finish flowers for m-i-l. Then decided to do a Michael Powell one for me next.

I meant to say earlier ladies, thanks to you all for posting your progress updates and saying it keeps you all motivated.
I didn't honestly think I'd post another update when I posted the first one 2 weeks ago but as you can see I did an update today and I have to say I'm glad I did!
When stitching I don't really see the day to day progress but once you get the 2 pics side by side it makes all the difference!
Seeing your own progress like that really does keep you going.

    Thanks again! :T

Also we went to Mum and Dads for dinner yesterday and I very nearly told her how the Fairy was coming along
Have to keep reminding myself they are for her birthday next year and to keep my mouth shut :silenced:
(I know, I started them very early but really didn't think I'd get on like I have so far)

    goldenearth12marchb.th.jpg
I lost my MoJo last week -but I seem to have found it again this week :j... that bit on the left is nearly the edge of her elbow :T...when I have finished that chunk that will be 1 page down :D -still mainly 1 of this and 1 of that but now I can see the patterns forming as I go its not as off putting...
I find posting update helps soooo much too Shelly and I love seeing wht everyone else is doing :p your flower fairy is looking lovely by the way :Tand I have to agree that they look much more delicate than they do when you see the kits on line ...
Well done on getting the floral alphabet finished Sweetcarer -looks lovely :T
nnm-that pic is really coming along :D
Im waiting for mum to send me some wadding so I can get some framing done..I have "forest light", hubbies "owl" and my celtic lady to do -need to get some frames....express frames will only deliver to BFPO addresses if Im willing to take the risk of them not arriving as they can't track them :(..
I need to get my beads sewn on my celtic lady too and then when I have finished my "golden earth" I think Im going to do my "celtic noel" as that will be the set done ;)
Right -off to get some more done...happy sewing and keep up the great work everyone :D

Aww Mrs M, that's a shame there isn't another stitcher in Germany that could take delivery for you. :(
