Thank you Argos, and thank you to whoever it was on here or HUKD who spotted this. It was worth an early start, but more particularly for the Lush stuff my daughter was so pleased to pick up. :cool:0

I took of the 33 that were reserved on our system, but then people came in saying they had reserved 10 each, which didnt add up. The stupid system didnt take off the items when people reserved them, so it kept saying we had any in stock.
Sorry to those people who couldnt get any or get as many as they wanted.
Just remember, its not our fault!!!
I agree, the staff at my Argos were lovely, I felt sorry for them having to work today and not be able to snag any chocs for themselves so I gave them 5 of mine, keep them sweet I say0 -
Picked up some from Catford Store this morning. Manager said a lot had been stolen over the Christmas period so there was an error in the stock numbers, but managed to get the ones I had reserved minus just 1, so I'm a happy bunny. The white chocolate ones are delisssh:D!
Does not show up on instore checker but now cannot reserve any online either so thank you OP.0 -
Went to Kensington store, picked up 10 which were put aside. They had cancelled my order claiming because the single white which i ordered was not in stock. Even though i could see plenty of white behind the counter.
Went to the shepherds bush store, said sold out even though i had a reservation. Claimed their delivery was not in stock. Saw plenty of open packets on the side where it could be that staff (or customers) had eaten some of the stock. Were indifferent. Don't ever shop at this store. Store managers name was "Nicola". Nothing offered, said 'too bad'.0 -
Picked up 50 from Wandsworth store... Staff didn't even know they were on special..
Top spot guys! :money:saving, saving, saving!0 -
South Ruislip store - went to collect my 8 about an hour ago, reservation number wouldn't work at the self-pay kiosk, a sales assistant told me to check at the till as people had been stealing them. This is how the conversation went:
Me: I reserved these chocolate oranges but my number is not working
SA: Oh yes, it is showing as insufficient stock, there were some out the back, I will check to see if we have any left. Maybe we could give you six.
Me: Ok that would be fine, better than nothing
(SA goes off to check)
SA: Sorry we have none left, I've been told that they were left out at the front of the store and have been stolen
Me: Oh right...
SA: Yes they're very small you see, people can put them in their pockets.
I personally feel that I have been duped lol, I couldn't be bothered arguing, but I feel that maybe they were out the back and the SA went to get them but was told to say they were out of stock by a manager ?0 -
I had reserved some and the reservation said they were reserved until close of business today (26.12.09) we went down there this morning to pick them up but this branch was closed! So thought oh will try and reserve them again tonight when they show back in stock again - but now all the choc orange links of the argos site are not working? Any clues OH saying we should go down tomorrow when the store should be open again with the reservation email?0

I was fortunate enough to get 4 for 50p from the galleries in Bristol today. No problems with my reservation number direct from the self service kiosk.0
