I would say don't get your hopes up its unlikely you will get any at that price!

So many people have been given exuses by argos even with a reservation number .

a right argos cockup.....

but.. managed to get 20 for £3.25 total - snowball white ones (manager said no milk ones left, in store pay machine cancelled my 20 milk choccy orange order).

my little girl said the police will be coming after me for taking so many away from the shop.... bless her heart :-)


Now, googling 'chocolate orange recipes'.... maybe that should be a seperate thread elsewhere

I got mine this afternoon. I had made 2 reservations of 10 each. When I used quick pay they charged me 15p each overall. So paid £3 for 20. Will now take them to work and share around. The people in our Argos did not seem surprised by us at all. Several members of staff admitted they also had 10 reserved for themselves. They also said one man had been by that morning to pick up 92!

I'm starting to think that the "they've been stolen from front of shop" line has been fed from Head Office. That's exactly what I was told by the boy on the till after he went off to see the manager when my Reservation number was "not recognised". I was shopping at a store in Suffolk.

You would think if all those Chocolate Orange's were being stolen there would have been a directive not to put them out at front of shop - especially as it has been happening all over the country (which we're being told now).

I wonder if they left some plasma tv's out in front of shop they would have the same lackadaisical attitude! Somehow I think not.

I'm yet another unhappy Argos customer. I reserved 10 only to be told there was no stock and it was a problem with their system. All I got was a quick sorry and then they turned away and called for the next customer :mad:

I did not get mine. They were out of stock when I got to the store GRRRR even though I had reserved them.

Got mine from Leek argos first thing, girl on the till said she was gutted as all their stock had been reserved and she hadn't managed to get one!

My sis in law went to Boston argos who told her there had been "a bit of a !!!! up" and congratulated her on her deal lol

Blame technology.
I had so many people shouting at me today because of the system error. I dont think its very fair!!
