Sammy, did you go to the tills? I tend to find they notice glitches and get worried about getting in trouble by accepting it, so always call manager regardless. Manager is never a happy man in my experience :rolleyes: Try the kiosk payment if you can, once you have the receipt it's harder for them to refuse (unless hiding stock of course!)

Just got back from Argos - What a palava - self pay wudnt work so went to the tills to pay. cashierr called over A manager - he came n just said sorry we got none left. Told him i had reserrved them online and my resevation should have been put on one side. He sed he had none in store and theres been a problem. I put my foot down but got nowhere - bearring in mind i had travelled 15 miles to this branch and even Asda was shut. What can be done about this ????? Should i complain to Argos Head office ??? Had some other stuff reserved but told um to stuff it

Dont bother goin to the Oldbury one, I reserves 10 and wouldnt recognise at self serve, went to till and then said had sold out but something wrong with internet ..... reckon staff had knabbed them all, but to be honest wouldnt blame them as they usually last to know of offers....

Wasn't Kingswood Hull by any chance was it?
I've already called HO to complain, she looked into it and said there had been problems bla bla, even though the till operator had told me that they had been in stock this morning.

OH went to the self serve but neither of my order numbers were recognised. He called me to check them and then had to go to the tills. It was a supervisor that told him that the glitch had been found but refused to sell them to him even at the 25p as listed.

I need choc. :eek:
