I will try to get them back from the owners!! to get photos for you. My favourite was Captain Jack I made dreadlocks using black wool and making a twisted cord with it, I also added a wooden bead or 2 to the wool before twisting it. For the waistcoat I used burgundy leather and at the sides I punched holes with a strong hole punch. I then laced the side seams together using another twisted cord. For his goatee I made yet another twisted cord and then I sewed it onto the chin. He was great fun to make as I could go over the top with him. I meant to make a sword but simply forgot, I will make one using shrink plastic and attach it.

I'd like to join this year, if I may?

I am a crafting newbie after discovering the thread just before christmas!

At the last minute I decided to make hampers for my Dad and his wife and I was surprised at how much they appreciated them (they have everything and are so difficult to buy for).

I also wrapped lots of people's small presents in tissue and cello with ribbons and bows, and I was surprised how wonderful and they looked! I was really pleased with them!

I am making a 'pot of gold' for my neice's 18th in January (she wants money, so it will be a nice way of giving it to her). Does anyone have a link to a printable tag with a verse? Or something I can adapt?

Also, I am going to be staying on a remote farm in Turkey in Feb, and would love to take something with me to while away the evenings - it can't be too bulky, and I will have no sewing machine. Any ideas will be welcome!

Oh and one final request - would it be possible to have a thread with all the links to projects? Or to put them in the first post? I found a few on the last thread but it is so long, and everyone seems to know what you are all talking about, that I got lost!

    Daisy :-)
