  • Id like to be included too! Got loads planned but not sure how much I will get done after baby is born in April!
I plan to get loads of stock built up in the next few months.
I love the idea of making Slanket style blankets- Dunelm do lovely big fleece throws and Tesco sometimes get the softest fleeces in with matching cushions.
Im also keen to try out some soap making but using pre made soap bases rather than messing around with caustic soda. I`m planning on doing soap cupcakes in silicone cases with soap roses on the top.
I also learned to crochet this year so will be making lots of cute Amigurumi characters ( as I got a book on amigurumi for Christmas)!
Its all exciting and love making gifts for people who truely appreciate them.
  • I'm in too. You lot helped keep me sane earlier in the year when my husband was ill in hospital. Looking at what everyone had made gave me something to look forward to every morning at what was a very stressful time.icon7.gif

    Hello

Can I join in too? I made a hamper for my MIL this year that went down a storm (and I did it all in a week!!) so 2010 I would like to do more of that sort of stuff :D

I'd like to join if I may? I've just joined the cross stitch thread as well-looks like I'm going to be busy this year! My only idea of something I'd like to make is a garland of stuffed fabric christmas trees as a decoration for next year. Like the idea of the hand warmers as gifts too.

This sounds fab! Can I make one too, i.e. how do you make them? I need a maternity leave project (baby 3 due in May)

Count me in too! This year I gave friends and family hampers of homemade goodies (jams, marmalade, chutneys, shortbread, fudge etc) and knitted toys for my three children. I also made a lot of my own cards, including 5 cross stitch ones.

For next year I'm thinking of knitting scarves (have already bought a load of discontinued fancy yarn with this in mind) and I would quite like to have a go at flavoured vodkas.

I had this book for Christmas which has got lots of lovely crafty ideas in it, and also got some Hobbycraft vouchers so will be off to stock up ready to start producing gifts! :D

I am going to make my first door chicken tomorrow and if they go well then I will make some for gifts next year. There are so many different things that I want to make that I guess I should make a list.
