Found some little tiny pegs that were on a noticeboard.............any ideas what I could do with them ? Can only think of adding one or two to a placemat I might cover and stick shopping list on.

How many have you got? I've just found an idea on the Hobbycraft (am I allowed to mention them on here again? :rotfl:) website for an envelope advent calendar.

    Link
(There's a video to show you how its made)

To be greener and cheaper, I would choose old christmas cards to cut up rather than cutting up scrapbooking paper. Also just write the numbers, its cheaper.

I notice they have put felt snowflakes on theirs, which would be a nice touch.

If you haven't got enough for a whole advent calendar, you could just make a mini washing line with ribbon or string and hang lightweight christmassy things off it with your pegs.

qwiksave -thanks for that link. It's a lovely idea and looks brilliant but I haven't got that many.
I wonder if I just use them with some string to hang stuff across our pine dresser.........or.......just had a thought and I'll try it out..........wonder if they'll be sturdy enough to peg my fabric hearts on to the ribbon I've put in with the hearts I made for my son ? Now............there's a thought providing they are.

Have to add...............just tried the pegs and they work a treat !!!

Hi everyone, had a busy couple of days but have managed to fit in some crafting (replace house work with crafting....its called getting your priorities right :rotfl:)
Ive made some baubles thanks to Soba's link and a box of cards from poundland :)vso ill put some pictures up tomorrow :)

Qwiksave that link looks really good, i must find some little pegs lol :D Love what you've done with your pegs too :)

Susan42 That tip for vistaprint is brilliant :) thanks for that and wow you've done lots of cooking! Im very impressed

Ive seen someone mentioning listing something on 'OS' now this is probably a silly question but what/where is OS?

I must spend some time in the next couple of days and have a look at everyones blogs and maybe even do one myself! I started one a while ago but never kept it up, must try harder :o

    hope everyone is ok
  • I mentioned OS Emzy, sorry to confuse you. It's the Old Style MoneySaving board :).
