Thanks flyingpig and parapusher!
I managed to find a reel of flexible magnetic strip today in local craft shop so going to try cutting to fit as soon as OH and mate have finished their takeaway on the dining table!
Your pegs look fab flying pig.
Was going to go for everyday themes myself with just embellishments no words.
Will try take pics if they are any good and people promise not to laugh. (I don't do too much in the way of papercraft!):o Wish me luck!0 -

Bowls look fab susan. I thought you could probably only do it properly in oven but they look good.
I tried the manet strip I found but the peg fell off this am when I came down. Have tried glueing it to peg now with some really sticky glue...will see what happens tomorrow am! Has anyone else had this problem as I don't think it is strong enough to hold much more than a sinlge sheet of A4.0 -
Has anyone got any idea what i could do with felt and foam? I seem to have loads of it and haven't a clue what to use it for, Any links would be great!0

Hello everyone,
I'm going to have a craft week this week but need to get some supplies from eBay before I start as I think the only thing I have is pritt stick! I'm going to buy some blank wooden Xmas decorations and paint them and I'm going to have a go at making some sour dough and make some letters, spelling out Merry/Happy Christmas and paint them to hang off out mantlepiece.
I would love to make some felt stars/hearts etc and stitch them, but my sewing is rubbish, will see how I get on. I want to get a few bits made before baby arrives in about 8 weeks time.
As you can see I'm only doing easy projects and have seen these, which look easy to make but having trouble finding paper/card-I can only find plain card/paper, can anyone suggest anywhere that might do more Christmassy paper? I thought about wrapping paper, but think it'll be too thin.

kms26 - have replied on ''christmas organised'' thread about foam and felt.......see what you think.
Did think of something else as well while I sat here........foam could make good door hangers I'd have thought.............might have a go at that myself...........seem to have quite a bit left.
beachlou-my sewing is rubbish as well and don't have a machine either but last year I cut out some hearts and stars shapes from fabric free samples and stitched them with blanket stitch round the edge...........bit of stuffing and they were ok to hang across the dresser. Thinking of doing some more this year.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
