Mary, I`m looking at everything in a new light, if you cant find it, make it....my OH is not amused with you though because he said why we collecting all this rubbish....I told him you said it was handy:rotfl::rotfl:
Amancalledmartin - hiya  I seen some in Home Bargains 69p for four. I also seen them in Pound stretcher and wilkinson but I cant remember how much.
I`ve also used curtain pole rings. They`re a great price, especially in wilkinsons;)Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Hi Susan
Thanks for that. Sadly we don't seem to have any Home Bargains stores anywhere near my area, which is annoying. There is a Wilkinsons nearby though so I'm going to try there. I did think of curtain rings but I want them reasonably wide to decorate.
Thank you!0 -
Hello all :j
susan - oops.........sorry, don't want to upset your OH.......mind you mine tends to think the same and it's a case of 'do you or don't you want this jar/gravy tub/box/ ??' then when he sees the result he's quite happy about it...............lol
Finished off handbag charms this morning -just need to put them inside a card of some sort with a verse so folk know what they are.
Sorted out all my bits of freebie fabric so instead of having a load of envelopes in the drawer they're now in a photo album inside the plastic sleeves so I can see what I've got. I even got around to using some to use up some odd card I'd got........nothing fancy just stripey material so they'll do for notelets.
Not a bad day -quite pleased with myself..............oh and got stuff wrapped up for lad who used to live with us ready for his birthday next week.............think I might have to re-do flannel dog though having seen one on the 'flannel' thread.............in fact, its going to be a definite re-do.................lolI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all, long time lurker, but new to the forums, here.
I don't craft many of my Christmas gifts, as we tend to only get pressies for our son, but I do make all my cards lol
I started my Christmas cards this year in maybe February or March this year and so far I have done 10 out of 12-15 for the main ones, and I will put together some smaller ones for my son's teachers & friends, a little later on in the year.
I will post some pics when it allows me to!13 Projects in 2013 Finished: 5 of 13
May Misson: Complete 20 Stock Cards - 23 of 20 - DONE! :T
Read all Unread Books: 20 / 47  - oops bought 8 more books, 25p each though!

Soulie -welcome to the thread.........look forward to seeing your cards:j
Susan - don't know where everyone is......busy crafting maybe ??
Well our young lad went walkabout last night so had to report to police etc. (least this time I didn't have to wait up for them to call)........still no news and his phones off (battery dead knowing him) -no doubt he'll be back when he's hungry or wants something. It's not a new thing with him
I've made a couple of phone charms(thanks susan- :T )Bit fiddly as they're so small but I managed it.............watched a tutorial video last night -haven't got the right sort of wire really but mums florist wire seems to have worked............so I've got one on my phone (when I last found out how to fixe it on..........lol) and one that'll be a pressie for someone. Need to get some more beads unless I can think of something else to use that I've got kicking around.
Other than that, and putting goggle eyes and buttons on my flanneln snowman I've not done much else. Had a bit of a stomach upset again this morning.............do hope thats not come back .I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
